  2. cool! will package 3 hold warranty due to over powering? EDIT: never see how old this thread was...
  3. My 01 S10 does 50's anywhere in the truck and a 52 @ the head. With 2 15's street box and a 3.5k (under the window) 6 cubes. hows your box set up?
  4. ive done a pretty nice set up using pioneers. budget builds that hits numbers are fun as hell. youll learn a lot in the process also. i personally like do go behind the c pillar just to have space and its more impressive that way.
  5. thanks man. it aint no fun unless all your friends can jump in and enjoy it!
  6. ha ha. That's exactly how I felt! Now its Damn, I have to fix that problem.
  7. one 300a mechman!!! thats all that can fit. i was messing with tuning right before my run and actually turned it down from what i normally have it. voltage didnt go below 12.4
  8. i actually wired it down for this run. ill run 32k IF THE OTHER AMP GETS REPAIRED!?! MURILO WHATS GOING ON!!!
  9. thx cliff for the vids! heres the vid of the run that broke the windshield.
  10. ??? try it. i doubt that last turn will count in your tuning though.
  11. Well no shit sherlock. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. If it was so obvious he wouldn't be asking. Fucking jack ass.
  12. The box he has,has too much port on low tuning. Any frequency below his tuning point would unload. Especially in a room with no loading walls.
  13. They will receive the same power either way. And it *would* work like that, but do you really want left and right speakers playing from one channel? I'd say either one per channel or bump it up to two per channel So what you're saying is that having left and right on one channel may sound bad most of the time? thats what i was worried about. And 2 per door like the midbasses is an option if i can fit them on if 2 arent loud enough youll loose imaging. the gain in volume wont justify the loss in sound quality.
  14. you could split it but what amp will you use for your tweets that can crossover that high? it can be done but its not worth the trouble
  15. if your worried about money. find a amp that has a crossover able to cut off for your tweeters and variable slope.
  16. im confused of how that box is ported out. subs mount to the double baffle right? where is the pressure venting out?
  17. I belive mtx has a 900 bridged at 2 ohm. Edit: its 4 sorry.
  18. ive been pretty stubborn about buying one because i scope my equipment. ive been contemplating about it since ive seen this come out. i have so much invested on my equipment that if this even saves one recone itll pay for itself. just one more tool to double check. just put in my order.
