amp selling questions
TeamHT replied to Craig28's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
i worked 2 years in the banking industry as a merchant teller and then business banker with wells fargo before becoming a loan officer and senior financial services officer for a local credit union and i can tell you without a doubt that is a scam. here are your scenarios: the check is a fake so of course the money will clear in your account, you ship the item, then once it has been sent to research it will be found out as a fake if not found out at the institution and the amount deposited into your account will be reversed out. then by that time you would have already taken out the money and shipped an item. then the scammer has your address, name, bank information, and all personal information to attempt fraud. and if the check is a real check, it is a product of kiting or has a hold placed on the check in which case you wont find out till later at which point the item is already shipped. seriously. youve been told many times its a scam and yet you keep trying to justify the deal. you have had your advice, do it or dont. but if you do, dont come back here talking about how it was a scam. i see now you havent had too many hits on selling the amp so i can feel for you, and take back some of the sting originally intended in the statement. seriously dude, its a scam. -
this seems like a very logical and efficient way to answer that question. forums always know more than the company....

Crazy damn truckers...
TeamHT replied to cmamtower's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
my two cents to the story... it would have been ok if he obeyed the law. but because he didnt, you can wont either and expect the situation to reach some kind of stalemate where he realizes the error of his ways, apologizes, and moves on? and id love to see your drift not to mention the people who somehow know he was doing 60. im sorry...how is it you know how fast he was going? 25 to 30 can seem like a HUGE difference. not saying he was only doing 30 but you get the idea. no ones retarded. only people retarded are people who think you can accurately depict a cars speed while you yourself are in motion. unless the car was also speeding. in which case...yeah. useless. -

im Stuck Help :/
TeamHT replied to Relyks's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
dude, youre not getting my intention. my point isnt to make fun of you. i know whats its like to work on a budget or not have the ability to get what youd like. but when i see peoples setup i like cleanliness, efficiency, and whats done with whats done. the speakers against the backseat and box look really ghetto, and the wires just all over the place just make it seem really messy. ? i was never refering to your equipment, i implied your actual setup. nad even though its a benz do you really like the hatch? -

non hip hop music that still has great bass
TeamHT replied to Lost Legacy's topic in Tunez - All things music related
well, hiphop really isnt the only genre of music that uses a bassline. country has some really nice deep bass, and the lines are pretty clean -
not really the point i was making, but having more doesnt really make 220k nothing, lol. my point was if i was in the market for a new (or new for me) the fact the car had about 220k miles would definitely be a huge turndown for me. but i have noticed others dont always care as much as i do. none of my cars are over 50,000 miles. but i dont mean to thread jack if you like your car dude, thats all that matters

hmm, i love my rfs. was thinking of selling them but i dont know about selling them for hifonics. its kind of a downgrade. in power and reliability, not that those bxi2010s are bad. youre wanting about 4000watts per sub?

Fedex lazy?
TeamHT replied to Entent's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
i was a sort supervisor at UPS and loved the job. we definitely did everything we possibly could to make sure everything was scanned, sorted correctly, and shipped on time. but things do happen, and we are all human. but after the politics of the job ruined my tenure with UPS i switched over to fedex but worked as a sorter. they did their job...but i noticed there was such a general...nonchalant attitude. it makes a big difference -
Fedex lazy?
TeamHT replied to Entent's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
ive worked for both UPS and fedex, and i can say, sometimes what can happen is that an item is missed, doesnt make it out, or get missed on the scan so its possible the item isnt in where it was last scanned. -
i would like some download links por favor

look through this site, there are two awesome companies who partner with SMD to provide you with a much nicer, less mainstream, cheaper route. DC and Iraggi are awesome. ive played with both but personally use a twin alt brakcet from dc with dual 300amp alts from iraggi. i wasnt able to use the belt that came with the alts, it was about 9" too long but a quick trip to NAPA fixed that. i dont kno if maybe you overlooked it but it was suggested you run 3 coils per amp.
