  5. awesome, so they are for like rear batteries, or ones that will be away from heat
  6. but why are they cheaper, are they using thinner plastic shells or what? and if they are cheaper what are they sacrificing?
  7. steve, I havnt get a tracking number yet, I was in the 100's for the order, and was wondering if my shipped out yet, I say my name on the list on the youtube video excited to tune my deck, 30 band eq, 3 way crossover, finally to the amps :DDD one thing I was wondering, I have a 3 way setup, I can do the mids and lows wih the dd-1, but what do I set the tweets amp with? should I use the mids setting for that too?
  8. I honestly dont see why they made these battereis, they look the same as the standard series, unless they have more output or soemthing
  9. isolators dont do anything really useful, they have a voltage drop across them, just becareful not to drain both batteries so low it wont start the car also make sure you fuse at the front and the back if you have a rear battery
  10. I did an open hatch in my mazda3, if you point the subs up it is extremely loud, and pushes the sound right to the front, so its nice and deep, here is what mine look like, so far I like it
  11. my audio technix is holding up well
  12. do a return and upgrade, im sure the company will have no problem with that
  13. agreeed, I have spent about 350 dollar with them just for this current build
  14. I went with 3 rolls of the 80 mil audiotechnix, and it is great stuff, sticks very well, very heavy and thick, will find out how it performs once my subs are slapping on monday I had 75 sq feet of it, and almost got my whole car done, with 1 roll left, but I also drive a smaller mazda3!! definatly wanted some second skin, but cost a bit more then I could really push out, and audio technix has had some really good review, I live in minnesota so its not crazy hot here, a bit in the summer, but other then that its like 60-70 degrees out and its cold including winter!
  15. No hurry steve, im still just finshing the sound deadening on my build, im getting 25 ft of 4 gauge, and 23 ft of 0 gauge tomorrow from knu, kolossul flex, hell yea mechman also had such a good deal I couldnt resist, hoping for an autograph on my dd-1 though right on the front if you want
  16. XS Power batteries are some of the best around, I own 2 of them, and love them to death, nathan gives great support too
  17. Steve, I got order number #100000245, silver permanent sharpie, like you signed your smd subs in, for your sig would make my day
  18. some people are very passionate about their hatred toward me....you never know. I have people that like the products i endorse, but don't necessarily like me I dont know why really......the ONLY people i have done remotely wrong (and it wasnt wrong in my book), are people that have ripped me a new asshole online for no reason. I rip them a new one right back.....and i become the asshole. Its been that way for a while. steve, ill go order one if you will sign mine, I really want it with that silver permanent marker like you signed your smd subs with, that would make my day!!! let me know man, I know you have a lot to do, but that would be fucking sick!
  19. true, I picked up a python 592, which is the same as a viper 5902 for $200, it is bad ass, 1 mile range, it has all the shit you dont want, but you just dont hook it up, has an awesome remote that doesnt make you remember shit, its awesome!! I had a viper 5902 that saved me once already, so glad I had that in, now I have a new car, DEI makes both systems, they are the same like I said, just the remote is a different color this thing goes for $300+ everywhere else, like there is no one that beats this guys price, its a good deal Python 592 buy link
  20. you can add a remote start on a manual, im doing my mazda3 tomorrow, and thats a manual
  21. that would work just make sure like you said, they are high tolerance, so they are gonna be some bigger sized resistors
  22. lmao, that is cheap, I though I was going cheap on my HIDS from ddm, XD I spent 100 last night on some mazda3 pedals and some HID's, and another 60 for some mazda3 specific projector lenses, I think this kid needs a new job ?? most of use spend $100 just to drive our big ass tahoes around, lmao, luckly my car is a bit more fuel efficient
