So I had hit up Mike S. to re-case my alt, and he'd agreed to do it. Sent him pics of everything and he said unfortunately he couldn't recase the alt because there's a big size difference. Jokingly I mentioned it'd be cool to buy a new one from him and get some credit for my old alt. He says that's something he can do. Basically getting a new alt for the price DC would charge to recase my old one.. awesome.

shit, when I burned up my old 350 amp 3 phase alt he upgraded it to a 340 amp 6 phase for the same price as repairing the old alt. Mike is the olny person Ill buy alts from
