I'm trying to add my own Bassline to songs with Fruity Loops but it feels really difficult to with FL. Any tips? I'm using Fruity Loops Producer Edition XXL 9 if that helps.

I was messing around in Audacity and I pressed Normalize and put it to -0.1db and all the clipping in the song disappeared. Is this a way to remove clipping? I'm new to this clipping stuff so please bare with me. Here is a picture Before: After:
