When i get home in about 40 mins. ilget the pic up,cuz the guy made the top cover that holds the subs, and rounded the mdf so the port is 4 inch wide, but its like 6 inches long, but inder the cover its a complete rectangle slot. not a SMALL OVAL LIKE THE TOP COVER ill post pics

length is 49 width is 15.5 tall is 19 (subs are firing up) 2 aq hdc3 12's Port...is the problem the slot is 4 inches wide looking overtop the box going down 19inches to the bottom of the box. then it splits and goes left and right to individual "chambers" at 3.5in wide and 18.5 inches long each way, and where the subs sits in that chamber, the air firts exits yes at 3.5 inches.

i tried haulin 35 volume...3/4 gain(heavy side of 3/4) andall settings they told me, and no light,soi called aq back, there gunna send me a new bass knob cuz they think the red clip light is broke inside

on headunit, no Eq. bass lowest ect, ive done all that so no clipped signal, and ok ill do that, my gains already at half though?

Hey everyone i Just broke in my 2 AQ HDC3 12's in my 4 cuft-5 cuft box, on 1 AQ2200d (soon getting a 2nd one). So the issue is, i talked to AQ guy from Techsupport, he gave me all my amp settings and said at 3/4 volume, turn the bass knob slowly from min to when the clip light on the knob starts to flutter, so i go, 30/50 volume, turn the knob slowly up to even max, no clip light at all? So i tried 5 more songs, and still 30/50 volume i turn knob from min to max, not even a blink on the clip light, DOES this mean my amp can go more?

First the trunk... go to a local audioshop, or second skin, and get damplifier, put 2 layers all over it, like cover the trunk with damplifier once, then again, that should stop the rattle, will still flex, but wont be like metal on metal rattle sound, cuz its matted. and i have a gmc 1500 sierra (ect cab truck) so im not sure what this baffle is, but if its the spot by your back window behind rear seat headrests, theres got to be a way to brace it good, but for the trunk yeah get some damplifier, will stop rattle, and you can go down to 1 ohm, my truck has 2 aq hdc3 12's.. 4-5cuft. after disp box, aq2200d amp, and its all down to 1 ohm, with a 100 amp alt. (bare in mind i just got this setup, and saving as we speak for a dc alt 200, maybe 300+)it works fine, i got big 3 done too, and 2 yellowtop batteries, so its not that bad for a temp. alt. if you wana bang a 45' damp that trunk, and go down to 1 ohm
