Hey guys I'm putting yet another system in my 1991 Plymouth sundance, I've got between 4-5 cubes in this hatchback to work with.i was thinking going either 4 10's or 4 12's. I'm thinking of Rockford's new P1's cuz they r only like 70 bucks on sonicelectronicx. I was wondering if u guys had any better options for that price. Also maybe some ideas on a box, I was thinking ported, but would appreciate any help. Thanx

it really isnt that hard, i was designing boxes when i was you age. you just need to do your resurch and learn a lil bit befor you start. i can almost garentee that your first box wont turn out likeyou want it, so just try one way then change it if need be.

i would have to design it to do it right.

i've done it on a build b4, you just gotta have some mad math skills to do it. it's the same way they calculate bends in slot ports.

its never good to mix different subs. they usually cancel each other out.

i only have like 3.5^3 feet of space for the 2. i know thats small but they r kinda crappy subs. these r just for back up.

I just bought somePLANET AUDIO PX15D 15" SUBS off of eBay< prob is idk any of the thiele small parameters or any specs about the subs. i look them up on google and nothing. can you guys help!!

yea its low enough that my headlights almost turn completely off when the bass hits. not good i have been wanting to get a different battery but the 1 thats in it is so small most companies dont offer it

i have a really dumb set up, but it works. for music, i have an alpine type r 10" duel 4 ohm hooked up in parallel then when i watch movies i use my rockford shallow mount p3 12" sealed duel 2 ohm in series. my grounds, like i said i have the big 3 using knukoncepts 1/0 wiring. then for the amp i have it bolted to the same place the rear seats are bolted to because it goes strait into the frame. the amp has knukoncepts 4 gauge wires and their 120 amp fuse. also, if the info is needed, my deck is power acoustics 8.3" fold out monitor w/ bluetooth.

well i had it in my truck b4 and it did it very seldome. but that was only when i really cranked it out for a while, now its in my car and it just started like 2 days ago.

im running a phenix gold tantrum 1200.1 and its throwing a tantrum. i have it bummpin real good then it will just shut of & wont turn back on for a min or so & when it does the first bass hit that comes it shuts off again. is the amp screwed up of is this something else? also< i have the big 3 on this car but my voltage still drops to like 10.7. is this cuz of the non efficient amp or do i just need more juice?

their not goin between the seats. i have a bench in my truck so the box is goin on the tanny tunnel. i plan on using like 80% fiberglass 4 the build. im just wondering if anyone knows a realy good box volume & port combo. i was thinkin of using like a 1.25 cubic foot box, idk anything bout how long to have the port. i also dont know whether to go w/ a round or square port. idk if there's a difference between them or not.

Im workin on a center console build for my 71 Ford F100. I need help though. idk weather i wanna go w/ ported or sealed. Im thinkin i want a SQL build, but idk what box would make the sub work the best. Im using an Alpine type R 10" duel 4 ohm, i have heard they work good in sealed but idk if they will work the way i want them to.

Hey Steve, im starting to make a center console sub encloser for my pick-up. It's gonna b from scratch but i was wondering if u knew of any web sites, pics or anything that could be of use. Its gonna b fiberglass so any help there would b very helpful.
