  8. so if i understand correctly there's no way that dude could build an actual horn enclosure in an automobile wether it be tapped, rear loaded or front loaded correct? they're just variations? also not trying to bash on the guy (not insulting him nor his intelligence) but why call them bass reflex and not ported, seems to me he's trying to sell names.
  9. @HHR Ed i was referring to Pete owner of PWK Designs/Acoustic Engineer and all that other stuff lol @forevrbumpin so he's just practically selling a name? and they're not real horn enclosures?
  10. well if thats true then how do peter's designs work? is it a variation of a small horn or something?
  11. so then there's no real horn that can fit in a car or mostly any other vehicle?
  12. hello fellow users, hope you don't mind my dumb question of the day but ive read that a properly built horn enclosure will be your best bet over lets say, bandpass, reflex and sealed among others??? how much more efficient are these enclosures than the others i mentioned?

  18. ok fellow users my noobish question is when building enclosures do yall prefer using screws or staples? and for what reasons?
  19. one quick little question before im done with this thread fellas, i started thinking and i confused myself(always happens to me) well i think i understand everything else port width where to bend etc... but when im bending port length, ex. lets say i have 10 inches do i bend 10 inches to each side, or do 5 inches to each side(which means i devided the remaining length by 2)? thx again guys i know i can be fustrating but im in learning mode.
  20. yea guess i cant avoid the trial and error phase lol thx anyways guys
