The level 5's are only 500 watts more. Granted then can take alot more.

4000 watts? The site says 2500 at 1 ohm. Even then your doubleing what those subs are rated for. It might be risky. -
I would say yes. But Im not the best with exact box sizes. Wait for someone else to roll around.
-
Ok so either double the wood or add dowels as bracing
-
As long as the seat isnt smashing on top of the amp you should be fine. Good quality amplifiers dont run too hot
-
I have my port facing upward so the wood in the front you feel me? Uhhhh still lost. The wood around the opening of teh port is flexing? Or the inside port walls themselves?
-
Do you have pictures of the area your trying to brace? Im confused now.
-
Your trying to double layer the port to prevent flex? Put the second layer on the inside of the box. That way it takes up box space, not port space. And technically decreasing box space changes your tuning, but it shouldnt be alot.
-
Sub up port back. I wouldnt go as large as possible. It will make the sub "peaky". Can you fit the amp under the seat or anything cooler? I think mounting it to the box is too common.
