  1. Do you have a volt meter? I think you could get away with it for a while until you upgrade your electrical. Just watch that voltage like a mad man.
  2. Well what are you trying to achieve? What are you using for power? More info please.
  3. Hey well call me when that happens! I will be there grabbing them out of that port! If it's even ported
  4. A $5000 box? Is that thing coated in gold? haha. Well if anyting you can walk away with your dignity.
  5. hah yea where ya located at? im in league city texas Yea your just a LITTLE off......*cough* Ohio *cough* damn...... Hah damn guess you'll just have to wait for Vids Sigh...... fine
  6. hah yea where ya located at? im in league city texas Yea your just a LITTLE off......*cough* Ohio *cough* damn......
  7. Well I think you have it covered! Can I have a demo? haha
  8. The level 5's are only 500 watts more. Granted then can take alot more.
  9. Yea none of my friends know what Fi is. I have to explain every time someone sees my woofer.
  10. No bass sucks. Like when my dad borrows my truck and I have to drive his car. It's horrible. I cant imagine 8 months.
  11. 4000 watts? The site says 2500 at 1 ohm. Even then your doubleing what those subs are rated for. It might be risky.
  12. I would say yes. But Im not the best with exact box sizes. Wait for someone else to roll around.
  13. Ok so either double the wood or add dowels as bracing
  14. As long as the seat isnt smashing on top of the amp you should be fine. Good quality amplifiers dont run too hot
  15. I have my port facing upward so the wood in the front you feel me? Uhhhh still lost. The wood around the opening of teh port is flexing? Or the inside port walls themselves?
  16. Do you have pictures of the area your trying to brace? Im confused now.
  17. Your trying to double layer the port to prevent flex? Put the second layer on the inside of the box. That way it takes up box space, not port space. And technically decreasing box space changes your tuning, but it shouldnt be alot.
  18. Sub up port back. I wouldnt go as large as possible. It will make the sub "peaky". Can you fit the amp under the seat or anything cooler? I think mounting it to the box is too common.
  19. Installing everything yourself feels so much better. And you could probably do a better job than some shops.......
  20. That is one CLEEEEEEEAAAAAAN box! You sure do have alot of clamps. You had at least ten on the box at one point.
  21. HOLY 2X4's! Whats the reason you went with stacked 2x4's instead of MDF? Just wondering.
