You're using the wrong URL's. Each picture should have links for HTML, BBCode, etc. Look for the codes for each picture that have "img" in brackets at the start.

Eh, I thought about it. Sometimes my work takes me about an hour or two away, but it's very rare anymore...Plus, smaller truck + same engine = faster (usually lol). I may just stick with getting a 1500 or maybe a 2500HD if funds allow (when funds are actually available )

Looking at trucks to plan for my next vehicle, I was planning on a newer model Silverado, but from what I hear they still don't get great gas...I saw the Colorado now had the 5.3 V8 in it, and I've heard it gets around 20mpg city, 23-25 highway...would it be worth it just to get a Silverado or would a Colorado be alright? It's going to be mainly a daily driver, ext cab, probably a camper cover & trailer for my DJ gear, but that's later on...anyone got an opinion?

Got my ELX118P's in yesterday. 18" powered subwoofer, 700 watt amplifier built in, but taking a look at the back, the power sticker reads "100-120VAC, 50-60Hz, 1.0A", and yes, that is 1.0 amps...for 700 watts...I know how pro audio gear outputs its power is different from DC current (car audio), but if I can run 4 of these speakers on only 5 amps, I'd be surprised. Best way to test it out, I have a 1200 watt generator...3400 watts on 1200 watts, should be an interesting test... Pics and vids coming up later...

I'm thinking about buying a set of Atlas True Track to use to make a small railroad around the living room/Christmas tree. Anyone else follow this old time tradition? I'm still deciding what trainset I'd want, or if I'd want two or three.... Post pics if you got some, maybe it'll give me an idea.

Holy bump post. o.o But this post definitely made me run & grab my two little puppies and give them a big hug. They're almost 7 months old, but still look like puppies.

Just as a small update, nothing real big...I'm still loving these speakers. The midbass response on these is amazing. The lower bass output lacks a bit at high volumes, but that's because these aren't built for that. I will definitely be buying the ELX118P's next, then debating between working on another set of these, or (if I get some more band work) a set of Kustom KPC12MP monitors with replacement Eminence drivers (horn mainly, then possibly woofer as well). Somewhere in that plan, I will definitely be throwing in a Presonus 24.4.2 mixer for the band side.

I found mine at one site for $550 apiece, price matched it on Zzounds and got the pair for just under $1100 for the pair. They don't have some of the features QSC and JBL put on their speakers, but for a basic powered speaker, it does great.

The EV's? They're f***ing amazing. I actually have them hooked up to my TV right now, and I swear, on some songs, I've heard parts of songs I have NEVER heard before. I can't wait to purchase a set of the subwoofers, and start working on another pair. I loved the PV's, but they're not great for mobile DJ use.

Nevermind then, I'm clear up in Kentucky. My PV215/SP218 combo sounded exceptionally well though.
