x2 . Audacity is great. I've been using it for a long time. I also use plenty of other things like Fruity Loops XXL Studio and Reaper.

Best/Cheap place to get a H/O Alt
RyanJ replied to Winn's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
I think i heard bad stories about excessive? are they cheaper have to check them out Just wondering.. if you've heard bad stories, why would you even check them out? I would just go with Mechman. Like what people said, you get what you pay for. -
Wait are you the person who plays CS? Sorry for going off topic, just wondering. Cause I play 1.6.. and I was just wondering I do, but I play CSS. I haven't play 1.6 in years Awww. You play ESEA? My friend plays CSS. He's 15 and he's a in Cevo Main . Hahahaha yes, i used to play main, open and all that shit too, but I have no been playing a while. I dont even know if i have membership still =/ Yeah. My membership died too. ESEA isn't worth it anymore unless you're actually in love with CS. Now.. Cs is dead. At least 1.6. Hahaha

Anything from Sundown are great products. But that's only from what I heard. I'm about to order 2 SA-12's.. And people tell me there great. So, MY GUESS to your question would be yes, they will SLAP hard. But then again, you need to think about your electrical, box, etc. So... The subs will slap but you need to also follow through on your part by building a badass box

CS 1.6 ftw. But esea is 6$, forgettt that!

4Loko's... aka Blackout in a can are very ..... nasty drinks. Hahaha. It's just a bunch of sugars and caffeine mixed in with 12-13% of alcohol. If you want one that doesn't taste like shit super bad, lemonade I heard is good. Also, I've drank watermelon, taste alright. Can't drink it again though because I've had bad trips off of them due to the sugar and headaches. :/

Will do. Then eventually if I want more power, I'll get another 1200D.
-
Yeah, that's what I'm most likely going to do. But the thing is, The SA's prob cant hang with 1 AQ1200 on each.. huh? haha would I have to get some DC's for that?
-
Agreed. the 1200 will slam those puppies perfect. You will be happy. I promise. BUT There isn't a point in buying an amp with a whole lot of power you won't be utilizing to the full potential. Especially if there is a long time before you can upgrade. True. If anything, if I do find a job in the time, I'll just buy another 1200D. Thanks guys.

KRANNY. I was freaking hoping for you to be on chat but you weren't on whenever I was on so I got tired and made a post. LOL. Yeah, I mean.. I doubt Im going to get an alt / batteries in a year or 2. So might as well just get the AQ1200D. Or even just keep the bigger alt for the fuck of it. Idk, we'll see. If any mod reads this, you can delete the post. Thanks

I would love to go with the AQ2200D too, but my money is in the way. And his electrical is stock. His box is to small since it fits in an accord and there's still plenty of room in the trunk. And well... Pretty much it sounds like hes running like 1000 watts. He said something about his amp being a hifonics 2000.. I don't know the EXACT name / model but you get what I mean.
-
I know exactly what you mean. Of course, I will need a new alt / batteries if I get an AQ2200D, but the question is, even if I wanted more power, could the SA-12's hold 2200watts? I know there underrated, but are they THAT underrated? I'm just saying because right now, I'm 16 and no job, meaning all my money comes from savings. I have money in the bank, but that's for college. So all I have right now is about 800-900$. That gives me enough money for the Subs, AQ2200D, HU, and wiring. It won't give me enough money for an alt / battery, which is an extra 500$ for good quality equipment. The only reason why I might be leaning towards the AQ1200D is because this is my first build, and I have no idea how to set gains, wire, do any of that. So I don't want to mess anything up. You know? If I just get the AQ1200D, I don't have to worry about setting gains, killing my batt, etc. You know?

So I feel like a total failure posting so many posts about the same topic, but I'm still confused. People want me to get the AQ2200D for future builds, since I wont have any upgraded electrical besides Big III. So I was wondering, is it safer to just get the AQ1200D? I was going to get the AQ2200D just because the more wattage and I could just set the gains on it for 1500, but then I realized I doubt I'm going to upgrade my system until I get a job, which wont be for long, so should I just go with the AQ1200D? I mean, the 1200D should run 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's Dual 4 Just fine, right? Everything stock besides Big III electrical wise. Please let me know. Thank you. And I have another quick question, my friend has 2 15" Kicker CVR claiming 2k watts, but I doubt it really is. Would my Sundowns / AQ sound better then his kickers? Please let me know. Thank you. -Ryan

Lous system for a begginer?

If you're not going to have it for long, why have an expensive sound system in it if its not going to be there for long? -

That is so DOPE. I wish I could experience something like that in my lifetime. And I'm 16 So I probably can. Hahaha -
I was wondering, is it possible to change the colors on your dash? For example, on the speedometer or anything on the dash? For example, a 06 civic's dash color is blue, but the Si is red. Is there a way I can make mine green, or any of that with little cost / time? If so, how much would it cost and how hard / easy is it. Thanks

Hey guys. Currently, I have 0 audio equipment and no car. My brother is using my car right now, so I have to wait until I can put my system in the car. I have the money and idea of what I'm going to get, I just need my car. But since having no car, that isn't stopping me from learning as much as I can before I install my set-up. I am going to buy 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's Dual 4 Running off an AQ2200D. Since my only electrical at first is going to be big 3, I'm going to set the gains on the AQ to 1200-1400 so my car doesn't explode on the freeway. I am also going to use a 0 guage amp power kit (http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KFX-PK0) to wire it all up. I was wondering, how hard is it to wire up your subs + amp. All I know is something about groundwire, etc. I'm only 16, so be easy . If anyone can give me any links, tips, suggestions, etc on how to wire up my subs, amp, HU, speakers, etc. That would be great. Thank you.
