I don't know if this was mentioned but I was just wondering when the Skar Rca's are going to be released, I would like to get them once they come out, but I did not see anything mentioned about them being released.

I read somewhere here that if you strap you lose output is this true?

I'm just wondering if the super tweeter's have a crossover or need a crossover. I'm going to be purchasing some soon and I just want to know if they come with a crossover or if I have to purchase one if I need one. If I do need a crossover for these super tweeters where can I purchase one?

I actually did not get stickers in my ZVX boxs.

Changed my mind when I saw the evidence lol. Now I can do what I wanted to do when I originally thought it up, which was to put 2 caps on each of my amps. I think my thread about that is still around... We did see that they had to be as close to the amplifier as possible. Just a question, Why as close as possible? Resistance?

It will be interesting to test it out. Two 10 fared caps 1 to each of my sub amps.

So after seeing this, I will probably go ahead and do what I wanted to try in a thread I made awhile back about adding a capacitor to my system. I'll try adding 2 caps, 1 cap to each amp as well as get an H.O Alt to see what it does....

Yup, I have had the ZVX's in for about a month now. They are 2 ohm. My mistake your right. I messed up I thought that I could wire them down to .5 ohms. But now that I know that I can't I think that I will do 1 sub per amp at 1 ohm. Sorry for my mistake. But on a side note the ZVX's can handle 1 2500 per sub at max clean power if set by my DD-1 for extended periods of time? Or can they handle more power? I'm looking to get as much power to them as possible with it being clean and not going to destroy the subs. Which leads me to one of my questions, How much power can a single ZVX take?

Okay, I'll keep it to 1 ohm. I don't want to void the warranty if I go below.

I'm looking to upgrade amps in the future from 2 1500.1'ds to 2 2500.1'ds. What they will be powering is two 15" ZVX's. My question is that can I power them at .5 ohms or would I be better at 1 ohm? I have 2 batteries in the rear already that's powering the 2 1500.1D's, do I need to upgrade batteries or add more? I'm also getting a Singer 250A alt from him would that be sufficient or should I ask him for an upgraded unit? Whats the max clean RMS power that that ZVX's can take? Can one ZVX handle 1 2500 at .5 ohms or should I just to 1 ohm?

Re-tuned my system yesterday and now the ZVX's have really surprised me. I did not give them enough credit. Time to deaden my entire Jeep.

Got my ZVX subs and box in last week just needed to upload pictures, The build is done...for now..

I might of tuned them wrong, but I don't think I did.

I'm playing all kinds of songs on my zvx's from country to dubstep to rap. They slowly seem to be getting louder but only at like volume 50+

Lol my friend with an all alpine system thinks hes louder than me. 2 Type E's in a prefab sealed box on an MRP-500 250 going to each subwoofer. With Alpine Type R's all around. Its pretty loud but it just makes me enjoy my system even more, lol.

Ah okay, lol. It will be awhile until I upgrade my subs.

I'll let them break in and see if it changes. I absolutely love these subs, they go way lower than my spg to the point where they shake my entire car. Maybe I'm going deaf because my friends say its loud as hell. To me they seem quieter. Could it be that I tuned to low? I am tuned to 30 on my ported box and my crossovers for low pass was set by the CC-1 at 71 hertz.

I feel the same way Swordlordboy1234, About not giving them enough power, They seem to barely move lol.

The SPG was powered by a Alpine-MRP-1000 the birth sheet said it was getting a little over 1100 watts like 1160 or so at 2 ohms. The Spg is rated at 1000 watts RMS at 2 ohm. It was a Boston Acoustics SPG.
