had a chance for some 10's but to didnt want them i wanted the 8's but if all else fails i just go with my sundown local dealer here in wisconsin and i wouldnt touch woofer etc they screwed me out of a sundown 200.4 =/

well i would like to buy a dc audio xl 15 basket and a xl motor or 3 18 inch baskets for xl or lvl 5's lvl5 motors as well i want 3 of them sundown pro neo 8's looking for 4 of them also looking for a nice alpine cda-117 or a 9886 or 9887 dont have to be pretty because im using it for the trunk to do burps and ect... price is open to disscussion i have money on hand so let me know im no tire kicker when i ask for somthing i buy quick lol

why if you dont want it to be pretty you make it yourself go to ace hardware or menards and have a drill press and make your own holes it works just fine and saves you alot of money

you are correct the crossfire 3 18 build i believe, as for the amps thats what i was thinking as well but again im very new at this so i cant spew out shit that i have no idea on the m4 compared to a 3500 since on paper and on specs they look very similar , but the thing is i would do the 3 18's if i have the airspace to do in a quick second, just its a big differnce some one saying 4.5cuft per woofer to someone else say closer to 5.5 to 6 cuft per woofer on an 18.... im honestly willing to go ethier way 15 or 18's idk you think the cone area increase will give me a slight increase in score? i doubt i would hear the difference but again ig i wouldnt know without testing

is that .7 each amp? or .35 then? im assuming you mean .35, but ima try to clip them if i do i only do a very soft clip on burps but thats a differnt story ig, as for the small side how small we talking on ethier the 15 or the 18 route? also how much port you think will be a rule of thumb , the last box brian built had around 8.72cubic feet net (this is the entire external size) After port, sub, bracing displacement the box is 6.22cubic feet (3.11cubed per woofer) The box has 94.87 square inches of port (15.25 sq inches of port per cubic foot) but that was for the dual 15 xl's box

this is in rays for sale section 3500 @ 11.9v 4800 @ 14.4 so its not like its much different mine is rated at 4200 at 14.4, by your post above your making it seem like it does the same power on mine 14.4 compared to his 11.9v rating? i may not have the alt setup he does but what with a can do i think it will hold up pretty decent with 6d3100s and a d3400, and im saying this without clamping or anythin in my past setups, only clamped numbers i seen with the aq3500d1s was from ami "black nasty"

well i dont have any baskets of 18 in woofers so i can measure it, but derek on youtube did 3 18 in his 04 mustang, 2 where in the bottom corners and the other was like in between them on top with the 2 ports on top on each side, i was thinking somthing similar to that baffle layout maybe if needed another port inbetween the two bottom woofers well the reason why is because no one want to buy my xl drivers so i just might as well put them to use, if i do go with 2 woofers then i probley wouldnt go with 2 xls then i was looking more into the crossfire xs v.2 woofers tbh Just because you can, don't mean he can an have the same results, that only works with big power how does that work with big power he had before 2 m4's correct ray? and isnt that amp and my 2 aq3500d1 pretty much the same? wouldnt they be similar in power? not counting voltage drop or rise? whats your term as hardcore competitor? because up coming db drag season i do plan on going to every single show i can idk if the drive is 5+hrs one way, this is going to be my 1st year and i plan on going all out, but most of the time i like going full tilt(highway ofcourse)when going to work or running errands, but as for spider packages are considered i will hear expereniced xl owners on them, and then also speak with rusty and see what he says as well to make my final desision when i order recones,

That the 1 reason on why i stopped goin with dealer here on the forums it they forget stuff or dont mention things when taking orders like i never knew about different packages towards spiders and ect.... from now on im calling dc audio direct He already has the carbon fiber caps on them. Correct, its ethier that or do 3 18' xl woofers in the mustang i just dont think i will have enough room in there i did rough measurments and i only see like 14cuft max while still staying behind the bpillar but i didnt remove no trim peices and i have some backseats in there..... but in all honestly will there much of a gain from slight increase in cone area? im its still the same motor and ect...

what kind of coils if you where in my position since you where running 2 m4s? on a daily situation as for the ar cone what does it excatly do to the woofer? how will it improve it? but when i order my recones i will try the 4 stiff and 1 med then for 3 xl 15's

I don't remember what you got for electrical, may want to add to it. Set the gains clean, and know when to back off. well i plan on doing is 4 more xs d3100 i have 2 now and one d3400 under the hood maybe 2 more runs from the front to the back and i only fit one alt so a mechman 270, so im just relying on a strong battery bank hopfully it holds

maybe i rambled to much in the 1st post i know the rms rating on the xl but i was wondering for 3 xl woofers in a daily application

well i currently i have 2 xl 15 .7 coils and i been trying to sell them, to fund my wall build well its taking to long for my liking so im thinking about just buying one more and doing 3 xl 15 walled off so i was wondering if for daily will the xl 15's take around 7-8k of power daily? or you think that will be to much? also changing the .7 coils to d2 coils to get the final impedance of my likely so if it serves me correctly 3 dual 2 coil will give me 1.3 or 3ohm the amps are going to be 2 aq3500d1 strapped ofcourse so yea any experienced dc owners care to chime it will be nice ^^^ maybe it was messed up i want to do 3 xl 15 woofers walled off in my mustang my plan is to recone the .7 coils woofers to d2 coils, find another d2 coil xl 15 as for power i have 2 aq3500d1 and i plan on runing them at 1.34 ohm so that be around half ohm each amp my elecrical will be 6d3100s and 1d3400 under the hood my question is will the xl drivers do well daily in this application or should i pick a stronger power handling woofer
