well he wants to keep his knob so i'm just giving him advice is all i wouldn't use the knob either, i don't use one myself.. you should reread the post i made about this already...
-
and in reference to the knob, i was trying to explain that he should disconnect the knob use the oscope for all his settings then reconnect the bass knob then he can crank it all the way up... i think some of you misunderstood what i was saying...
-
no its called quick post... thats what i call it...lol, i'm multitasking sorry if its problem for ya, but it doesn't have any rules on quad posting does it?? edit: here's your edit kranny, if you notice in order to edit, you have to do one more clicking to edit when there's already a white box, thats why they have it there...everyone has their preference of how they want to post...edit or quick post, it doesn't make any difference by the way, but one less click is one thing less to do with the finger and mouse and hand work we put in as a daily task of working and playing online..

headunit first, gain second, bass boost last, then you can use the bass knob plugged in once all the settings are done, read correctly
-
bass knob is the last thing you want to use on the setup i don't even have a bass knob, i just don't use it
-
bass knob is the same feature of your gain on your amp...do the setup without the bass knob plugged into the amp
-
no turn the volume on your head unit up 3/4, but have all the gains and bass boost down, then when you use the o-scope, turn the gain up first til it starts clippin then back off a hair, then set your bass boost last
-
volume first gain second , boost last,
-
because you need to set the volume at 3/4 tilt, then turn the bass boost down all the way and set the gain up til you see clippin, back down just a hair then reset your bass boost up just a hair if you like, then play all the different tones and see what you get

first all, don't run your grounds from battery to amps, have them all grounded to a single location... 2, if you're gonna run 1/0 , then run it all the way 3. upgrade the alt, that alternator might do for a little while but in the long run, it will just not be enough, your amps will kill itself for not getting anough juice 4. you could use that battery, but not recommended even if you build a battery box for it, get xs power, kinectik or whatever i don't know how much power you're gonna put out, you never listed the amps you're running

i wished i could fly over there to help you out...

i told him about that in his other thread he started... turn the square ports around into diamond ports... guess he didn't catch all that

how much you asking for the rf amp -
lol ok let me try to explain one more time lol since you have 2 squares... to convert this to a triangle, the port length can stay the same or be longer to maintain the frequency, but the length of 2 sides will need to be stretched out...so if your square sides were 8 by 8 then the triangle would be somewhere 11 or 12 inches on 2 sides and then whatever the lenth of the 3rd side ends up will be automatic
