  1. http://www.audiosavi...ower-Cells.aspx there you go it's on there on mine. You see the XP950? They have all the D-series ones but the only XP-series ones I can see out of the 11 products are the XP2500 and the XP1000, seeing as only the XP line is eligible for the 15% discount. IDK if im not being clear or my web browser is fucking with me haha edit- I just sent an email to audiosavings. If I am having troubles with the site they should be able to help me out with the order.
  2. I just checked again and only saw the XP2500 and the XP1000, went from the link on the homepage and also tried going to the powercells/batteries page. Same result man..
  3. is audiosavings sold out of everything but the xp2500? bc thats all i am seeing now. Was hoping to buy a XP950. Thanks! --Andrew
  4. preferably a stock level 4 since my other one is stock (no add-ons) but im open to offers
  5. possibly make a few new holes? if they are that small i dont think it would harm anything. Never even knew that those said holes existed in cars
  6. Thats crazy how much of a difference that made. Never even thought of that. On a quick side note are there any significant advantages to using areoports over a basic slot port? Is the elimination of port noise one part of it?
  7. Yea that's what I am thinking... In the end the basic cone area is king seems to take over. Hey 412, would you think I would just be better off making a solid ported box for the 12's as opposed to trying to fit a 4th order in there? And its a '99 lx
  8. x2 Yes they do. Do you think that in the right box, that 15 could be louder than the 2 12's? If I did that I'd prolly upgrade from a lvl 4 to an XL
  9. I have not, but wouldn't the 2 twelves be louder? but considering my max box height is 14 3/4" the 4th for a 15 would be tricky..
  10. If you had an amp to fully power a model of Subwoofer brand X, would you choose a perfectly sized ported box and 2 12's or a sealed box for 2 15's? 4th order for the 12's might be possible SPACE LIMITATIONS SUCK!!
  11. calculus is honestly pretty easy. the stupid ass hadcore algebra they throw into it is a bitch and a half tho.
  12. i might chime in later and gain some knowledge too i might do this same thing with some LVL4s if i cant fit a third one. I also am not too sure how to go about getting the tuning correct with the port. Looking to do upper 20s into the 50hz range if i did it..
  13. yea looks like some kinda ghetto ass 4th order to me. yea again i am 200% un-knowledgeable bout anything past a good ported box lol figured it wouldnt be that easy hahaha edit: ^^ good idea ill shoot him a pm
  14. i might just meet up with the guy i sold my 2 15s to so i can measure up the box they were in. i wanna say it was just about 6 cuft or so but i cant recall. super tight fit none the less lol
  15. I WILL USE ALL OF THE ABOVE DAMMIT!!! LMAO naww i hear what your sayin. i can fit a solid ported box for two lvl 4s but i was just in the 'cone area= king' mentality and just trying to think of a way to squeeze em in. and of course this is a budget build so avoiding the upgrade to lvl 5s and redonkulous power amounts is present unfortunately
  16. 99 lx. Id love to wall it but its simply not an option unfortunately but i agree with the ports. heres what i have on torres, i added the open space in front of the middle sub to the bracing. otherwise just split the port volume in two.
  17. I know a lot of people will toss out the idea but fuck it. I want to do as much as humanly possible while staying within the confines of my trunk. I have tossed the idea around about doing a ported enclosure for 3 12" s in the trunk and might have a breakthrough. If i really wanted to i can do a sealed enclosure but i want the extra output of the ported. for three LVL4's does anyone think this even worth a try? rough mockup with a drafting program and rough port length using torres. 25 sq.in. of port on each side ROUGHLY 4 in. long or so pardon me im abit shwasted lol edit. doubl;e baffle for the subs and tuning about 35hz. also top piece would cover the entire 36 x 28 square
  18. mayb............. hey op any luck with your box? btw what 12" and 15" subs are you using? any pics or specs of the box? or at least volume?
  19. excuse me sir, your black man in fact appears to be white.
  20. when it went out one day i finally poped the trunk and screwed around with it. wiggled the rca inputs and it came back
  21. problem is I goot pay $600 towards school in the next two months, and $300 in tickets to pay in the next month too. That along with the usual monthly expenses and limited hours at work due to school means no money till summer once money starts flowing hoping for an aq2200, better wire, batt or two and 1 or2 more lvl4's idk i can try to ghetto rig it so it wont move around as much i guess thats the best i can do on a budget for now lol well quit driving like a women more like a maniac hahaha. funny thing is about 6 months earlier same cop pulled me and my buddy over for "street racing" lol. we were just acting like idiots speeding and slaloming between the shoulder/lane/median. could have easily arrested us but chose to give us a few tickets instead and said next time i pull ur ass over im arresting you. this time i blew strait through a red on a right turn and was haulin around 90ish down the main road thru town. almost arrested me AGAIN (actually cuffed me and tossed me in the back for 30 min or so) but ended up just giving me a few tickets. small town+ knowing all the cops from young age=winning
  22. use cardboard to cover the hole a rough 13" circle should work fine. did for me when i somehow managed to cut a 13" hole for my 15" lol #facepalm edit; tape or staple it into place too
  23. problem is I goot pay $600 towards school in the next two months, and $300 in tickets to pay in the next month too. 24. Just wondering if anyone has wired a AQ 2200 down to .667Ω or lower? Ive seen/heard of the 3500 running at .5Ω so i was thinking that the 2200 should be able to handle that too... GRANTED you have the electrical to support it.. EDIT-- basically looking for an amp to put out around 3000 watts at either 1.5Ω or .667Ω. i know that the 2200 prolly wouldnt get to 3000... but its up there. would be running 3 LVL4 D1's. dont wanna sell the one i already have thats why the d1. thanks! -Andrew
