  1. It's usually those "simlpe" things Get that ground fixed! And the grounds in you engine bay is equally important.. And do you have a good box?
  2. Looks like alot of fun! But I smh at all the comments.. Haters gonna hate i guess
  3. And how about the inside? We cant really tell from those.
  4. I would recheck wires to make sure you have your positives and negatives straight
  5. wow...... I guess i have to play around with it a little, if it even works. If i can't do it I'll blame it one the cold I have Looks like it kind of worked: Then again....:
  6. Does anyone know or have ideas on how to make the top piece as a solid part? I think part of the problem is "non continous" lines, as they are build up of many small ones to get the desired shape. If I click on one of the lines only a small section of it becomes blue. Although the are still connected to another. I'm sure those who use SketchUp will understand. I did manage to make walls on part of the small end where the lines are actually straight. (not shown in the pic) I would really apreciate some good tips and tricks!
  7. To you that says it wont pass, I don't think so either, but this is probably the same kind of people that made pizza a wegetable.........
  8. What? but, show pics of your box
  9. If you can PM me your e-mail I can send the SketchUp file to you, but I dont have any torres file. Just used it (and WinISD) to check tuning.
  10. Go sober up dude.. They don't have to be side-by-side
  11. Yes it is. This would be with those "Z" joints I was talking about, but if you want it a bit easier I can change it up a bit. If you want I can give you the measurements, or maybe the whole SketchUp file if you'd like.
  12. Should be really close to 6 cubes after woofer displacement, about 35hz tuning. 81 in2 of port area, or a little over 13sq-in per cube. 3/4in wood is imo not enough for two 15" but some threaded rods could be helpful. Woodbracing would steal precious volume. Your situation is not ideal but it might just work.. better than a prerfab anyway
  13. Other than the calculator, what is the real problem? Is it figuring out the whole box with volume and tuning, or just getting the cutsheet for those numbers you have?
  14. No wait, I'm confused.. How does removing .75 from the height take up a full cube, but adding another baffle to a sub up setup remove only .39cf? And with the height being the same. Edit: Also changning the with of the port doesn't change the net volume until a certain point where it jumps a whole cube. I must be doing something horribly wrong?
  15. As I see it right now, yes. And just leave the baffle boxes empty.
  16. It seems like the cut sheet list doesnt care about the number or thickness of baffles, but the displacement is taken in account so it's like the added baffles goes on the inside of the original one. Then it's up to you to decide if you want to shorten the sides or put the second baffle on the inside parameter of the walls. Or just slap the extra baffle on top, and you put in 16.25 as your height to give you the right internal volume without worriyng about the extra baffle. There are so many ways I would put the bottom baffle on the inside of the walls to give the box "Z" joints between the walls and baffles, giving you almost double contact area. And I think you are correct aobut the port height of 14.75in when wanting 17in total height I'm still awake now at 5:29 AM so don't be mad if I eff'd up a little..
  17. My old Saab is like that, the shape of the nozzle blocks itself from entering properly, so I have to put it in from the side to make it work.
  18. No x6! The first picture that popped up in my head was a 4th order wall with a giant aeroport
  19. How do you not have music at all when you pull your fuses? I just pulled the ones near my batteries and the one up front Because, doing it right. OP: I get the same feeling when I build speakers for my self, I just want to hear them so I take them in and leave then unpainted I'm working on my second year with unfinished floorepakers..
