  1. I like it better off to the left side making it easy to take the bottom out while leaving room for a nice system. I think the bottle would look great if you got it color matched to your calipers and had some sort of SMD ISF graphic on it.
  2. I guess i could go as little as 8 cubic foot box for two smd 18's. I should be able to fit that fairly easy...
  3. I think two smd 15s in a blazer wouldnt be too big of a box would it? I could go for a 7 or 8 cubic foot box for the two of them.
  4. Do either of you happen to have pictures of the boxes in your blazers? Im looking to have it the lowest i can on the window line. I figured i would have to plan on cutting out the area the jack is in aswell as building it around the wheel wells for maximum space if i really want to keep it as low as possible.
  5. I to am looking at a few options on subs and most of the combinations i want are asking for around a 10 cubic foot box. I dont mind gutting the back of the car if thats what i have to do. Then again I do not want to lose my seats or all of my view out the back. Hopefully ill be able to find a way to keep the rear seats, as much rear view as possible, and the right amount of space.
  6. I'm in the process of planning out more ideas for a new system but will be keeping the same platform. (The Blazer) I'm looking to find out what size boxes you guys have got in the back and weather or not an 8-10 cu.ft box would be too larger for my liking. I'm just looking for input essentially. Pictures of said boxes would always be helpful as well.
  7. Maybe the XS can wait....BUT ONLY after you get that exhaust worked out. That ISF you posted sounds SICK
  8. Tomatotat you mind me asking what type of RF 4" speakers you have in your A-pillars? I was thinking of glassing some 4" speakers in my a pillars to. Sorry for the mild thread jack...
  9. Steve, I say you hurry up and throw an XS Battery in the ISF like you did to the old lex. After That I think I would vote for exhaust. N8Ball is right; Waiting for a drop might yield more choices or better kits...
  10. I would really like to see a demo video of that thing! Especially a Mids and Highs distance test. Hopefully more people end up checking this thing out! I love it.
  11. Another person from Maine? DAMN. I like to hear YOUR system sometime; Loudest I've heard are just my two old RF 12's on something like 150RMS each
  12. Gasoline and fires plus speakers are always fun combos. I say do that
  13. I'd go with DD all day as long as its in good condition
  14. you Answered it when you said you cut the wood for the port, which would imply that the port was in the front.
  15. The whole box will face with the woofer and port towards the tail/endgate
  16. I'm ordering my P3 15 when I finish building my enclosure for it. I have started building the enclosure according to RF and their "powerful" enclosure design. show here: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=4&series_id=31&family_id=11&item_id=108291&locale=en_US&p_status=discontinued Any way...I've started building this enclosure but am confused as to #1 where the port comes out. the front or the side? and #2 why would the baffle/ front of the box and the rear of the box be the same length in RF's cut list if the port were on the front?
  17. Oh damn steve, those things are gonna be looking RIGHT on the ISF... especially with the newly painted calipers
  18. ^ you tested that enclosure didn't you? I believe I saw something to do with you and the sa15's
  19. I'm in need of a box design and cut list. The box will be made for 2 Sundown Audio Sa-15's tuned to 34hz. The box must also fit in the back of a 1996 blazer in the rear cargo area with the seats upright; So basically the box has to stay in the cargo area. Thanks ahead for any help!
