And update on the ipod it self? Just like one of the regular ipod updates they have right? Not an update with the HU itself...

I just bought an Alpine CDA-117 and am wondering what the issue is with the "slow USB" I hear people talk about. Is this only with dealing with flash drives or is it just using the USB port at all? I was originally planning on using a hard drive hooked up to the rear USB port but I am wondering if this is going to end up being too slow?... Input from CDA-117 owners would be wonderful

Happy holidays everyone and I hope you all got some good audio gear!
-
So what am I missing in this whole T3 audio thing? Do I have it right when I say their Speakers are not good but their subs are quality items??
-
You wouldn't have the best mid bass or anything like that but I doubt you would notice if you're upgrading speakers. If you're amping them aswell I really don't think you would notice. The speaker will work being suspended like you say, don't worry about that

Anyone Awake?
96Blazer replied to TRTC360's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
I'm still awake as well. I believe I'm going to sleep now though... -
The whole AQ3500D Idea is actually a really good idea. If you don't already have the amps I suggest you consider the 3500's
-
I would say 4 15's personally and am willing to bet your going to be like most and take car of the electrical to suit AFTER you decide what amps your going to be running
-
I agree, Big 3 can be done for much cheaper then adding a second battery. I had the same issue in my first install in a Pontiac Sunfire and the "Big 3" upgrade cleared it all right up.

I say take the subs out of the box and throw some Epoxy/Glue of some sort on the back side of those cones and then maybe a little tape them after if they need them. Those are some nice Rockford subs. I say you give them a little better effort for a repair
-
Have you found an amp that suits your needs yet?
-
I just saw this in the WTB section and thought, Hey I've got 2 rockford 12's and amp, and box all for sale really pretty cheap! But I know exactly where your coming from. When I was younger and couldn't drive/ didn't have a car I ended up buying those two Rockford 12's and everything....Bad idea. When I finally got my own car it wasn't enough. I recommend you save your money so you can have a nicer system when you actually do get your car...

So I am slightly confused.. I know the CC-1 and DD-1 are two different products but does/will the CC-1 have essentially a Distortion detector in it?
-
Any updates on this thing?

Might we be seeing this baby beast tearin' up the Tercel?

Bangor? Would I be correct to say Bangor Maine?
-
I agree, just buy the member ship, It's not that much for even just the bronze membership and its such a good deal considering you can download all of Decaf's stuff AND Bigpimpin's music to.

Garage Clean Out!
96Blazer replied to thehoe92's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
How bad do those punch 8's sound? I'm interested in both those and the 5.25 punch speakers. Do both of the 8's have some coil rock to them or just one?
