  1. Weezy = Wayne brah. Wayne's shit is cool, I wouldn't listen to him if he didn't spit such sick freestyles though. And this song is pretty good! Rockstar baby, now come to my room and get lock jaw baby.
  2. They say the right side of the brain is creative, and the side of your brain you use more, you use the hand opposite that. So, Right brain creativity = Left handed artists. Btw, sweet tattoo steve. So much detail. And tattoo's don't hurt, pain is the brain saying it's having an overwhelming amount of stimulation, so shut up and enjoy it. The little buzzing under the skin is great, it's what got me through 9 hours across the ribs. And mine was all done with the liner
  3. Handy piece of info, if you call a company they're gonna offer you their top of the line/most expensive items. TELL them what you want. Do a little research on their website to see which of their subs fits your needs, and call them and ask for a price on that specific sub.
  4. Honestly he's 100% correct. Watch the whole little car flex like a balloon. Why not go for 1-2 SA-8's?
  5. In Soviet Russia, you don't do work. Work do you! But yeah, what kinda work takes you from the mid west to russia? The US Military doesn't have any bases in Russia do they?
  6. Just got confirmation from Rob that he got my Money Order. Now i'm just waiting for my present from the UPS/FedEx guy. :yahoo:
  7. I was thinking that....a wall would imply subs/port forward would it not? Or I guess in some wall set ups Subs/Port backward
  8. We're also good at talking to the police. "I'm....sorry officer....I...didn't know I couldn't do that. " I thought the song was pretty decent too. I'mma find a download here soon
  9. Ain't a bad idea. My buddy has a Chevy Gulfstream that he switches out his gold Dayton's for those so the harsh weather don't fuck them up. EDIT: No clue where to find em, but like the person above said Junk yard would be a good start. I see alot of junk yards using em to hold cars up.
  10. Participate in team SMD don't be gay http://team.forsvarsmakten.se/english/#/private/SMD
  11. Hours and hours of mind numbing goodness possible here. I've already drained 10 minutes. My partners are stupid.
  12. It all depends what you want. Because regardless of price no sub is an end all sub.The JL Audio w7 is quite expensive, on ebay, around $750. At one time I was sure that was the end all sub, but then I found this forum and bang, so many more reasonably priced options. Price isn't everything. And because I swings from Rob's nutz, you should get a DC. Level 4's handle 1000RMS, XL's handle 1500RMS, and Level 5's handle 2k RMS, but from what i've heard safely handle 4k daily.
  13. You'd be better off to PM Thor or Rusty, because even if someone does post a price, mods will delete it with the quickness.
  14. Thor is the person i'm buying the sub from and he's the one that told me to shoot for 5.5 after displacement, and he said as far as freq he uses the term lab to tune, and adjusts as he finds necessary, and i'm not really that skilled, nor do I have access to a TL. I can probably make a completely different port, I was just trying to shoot for 35 because i'd get a little more of the more audible tones. Not going for SPL. Don't care how loud it gets as long as it sounds good. Any ideas?
  15. Any idea what i'd be paying for a recone? Because dual 1.4 is what I would like, but I couldn't pass the deal I got for the dual .7 Any recommendations on a port for the sized enclosure I chose then? Because if I change the height, then the freq of the box changes, and to adjust I end up screwing up the volume. I'm trying to keep it dead on 5.5cubes
  16. Level 5 is already paid for, just waiting on it to ship out. Open to other suggestions though. I'll be maintaining a mostly stock electrical aside from Big 3 in 1/0, 1/0 between batts, and 1/0 from rear battery to amp. I'll be using a D6500 for the rear.
  17. Alright, so I got bored and decided to try and figure out box specs for myself for a Level 5 18 and this is what I came up with. Height - 11" Width - 37" Depth - 38" Which before displacements = 7.12 ft^3 After port, sub, and brace displacement i'm right at 5.5 cubes, which was my goal (recommended by ThorsHammer) My port specs are Height - 2" Width - 30.375" Length - 16.75" This, with my box build puts me at 35.08hz (used the Torres calc to do all of this.) I was wondering what you guys think? Does this enclosure sound like it would fit the sub well? Would I be happy with the 35 tuning? I'm going for a daily driver, and i'll be hooking it up to a Crescendo 3k @ 1.4 ohms EDIT: It'll be going in the trunk of a 1990 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight, with the sub facing up, and the port firing towards the cabin
  18. That's one of the most well trained dogs i've seen. Screw those dogs in show, and Ceasar Milan or whatever his name is.
  19. I heard straight from Rob (Thorshammer) when I was ordering my Level 5 18 that they sound the best in a 5.5cube box after all displacement. However, I couldn't get a freq from him because he said he just tunes by TL, and adjusts the port to where he wants it on the TL.
  20. Are you using bootcamp that came with a mac or did you download and try installing it? Do you know what version of boot camp? What mac OS?
