  1. i dont think it likes under 1.5 volts
  2. http://www.darvex.co...rommets-c32.htm Remember to fuse? yeah 250 amp anl fuse but im gonna step down to a 120 or so because my amp is only fused for 120
  3. allright. so that should be all the terms i would need to know?. i accounted for the maximum amperage and what not. so i think thats all. my only other question would be what could i use as a 0 gauge grommet to put in my firewall.
  4. OFC is oxygen free copper. Having air pockets in wire generates heat. Heat = wasted energy. It would also lower the wire's current carrying capacity. This is also related to the reason its widely suggested you either use hydraulic crimpers or solder your connection. CCA is copper clad aluminium. Aluminium isn't as effective a conductor as copper. But aluminium is cheaper and lighter, so people use it. The strand count means you have a bunch of fine wires instead of a few thick ones. Makes the wire more flexible. oh well what whats the abbreviation for the official wire gauge. or is that only with welding and home electrical? i think it was awg or something. and im guessing the ofc copper is higher quality than regular copper? as for the crimping or soldering i don't think I'll ave to put any terminals on this install i think everything is set screws and what not. im not sure how the db link battery terminal works though. if it's set screws also or compression ring or what
  5. what is the strand count? does it mean that there are that many strands in the wire or what. because the jacket on my 4 gauge power wire says 2058 strands ofc. yes i already know that the ofc is like the official wire size or something
  6. knuconcepts. i know some people use stinger also
  7. probobly copper plating. seems pretty sick. are the lights in the front scoop?
  8. 2nd or 3rd grade. never heard about it until 4pm didn't understand it. didn't understand why someone could commit such an act. couldnt understand how a group of people could kill so many
  9. all right i guess ill give that a shot when i find a cheap amp
  10. well if i wouldnt have sold my other amp already lol. what about hu power switched and all my other speakers being ran on the amp. and that is actually a great idea
  11. well this is what im thinking. since im gonna use a 6 channel amp. im gonna amplify my front speakers with the front channels and then use the rear channels to run two small 2x5 horns or two 5.25's maybe so thats why i cant just turn off the amp
  12. would it be possible to attach two pieces of speaker wire to a regular 30 amp switch to turn off or turn on some external speakers when i want to. like if im washing my jeep or something
  13. well my thinking was. a crew cab long bed frame would be longer than a short bed extended cab or vice versa
  14. i would say perhaps a clearance issue with the hood. besides the fact that you would need a new instrument cluster and a few other things you would also have to make sure you could fit your cab and bed on the frame.
  15. if you decide to split what could you do on the 18 foot cable and 2 splitters.
  16. bump any others?
  17. well, we cant help you much unless you give us more info.
  18. bad ground possibly. what upgrades have you done besides the big three and what gauge wire are you running to the amp
  19. bump. i'm open to trades also
  20. rd sonance motor. it is the v2 im pretty sure. weighs about 17lbs 2.5 inch coil. looking to trade it. or sell it. i don't have a set price on it. but i paid 50$ so pm any offers
