  1. So this is my first glass job done all by myself, I was always afraid to do it. The car is a 300 M, I put a computer in as my head unit it has a dual core processor, 4 gigs of ram, hdmi output, 40 gig solid state drive running win 7, and a external 500 gig for music and whatnot. It's all hooked to a 8 inch touch screen and a clarion EQ till I decide on a processor and finish the system. Here is what it looked like (not my car but it looked like this) and now
  2. 1985!!!! I was one year old. Damn I feel young.
  3. I can't even remember what it looked like, but it was a pioneer from like 98 or 99. I used the hell out of that thing learning how to do the whole audio thing in my second car.
  4. This makes me miss my first vehicle, it was a 84 almost the same as yours. looking good keep up the work.
  5. welcome to the forum. Are your tires the correct size? They look small to me. IDK maybe it's just the pic, one of my fav cars though.
  6. oh shit, is the invisible man jumping on your roof? He seems to have gained some weight.
  7. Now this thread is the shit cuz my drunk ass posted hereand OMG I have uset the backspace key more times than all the other keys on this board combineded.
  8. do you have an upgraded alt? What battery do you already have? More info.
  9. Moisture build up is normal, I don't know what all is available for cars but for normal air compressors there are valves that automatically drain the moisture, and drying filters as well. I have seen some rusted ass tanks, water is definately an enemy. I would drain it off every 90 days or so and if it is not too hard, open it up and let it dry out completely once a year or so.
  10. found this but you would have to drill a rather large hole on one side http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?input=door+wire+boot&SM=1&SC=8 and this http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?input=door+wire+boot&SM=1&SC=8
  11. I was thinking you would be able to find one off a car in a junk yard. Now if It were possible for me to get to a junk yard.
  12. I agree that looks are not as important as function, but I try to put all my effort into making it look good if I can. Your work looks good though, that was a good Idea.
  13. That would do the trick, but it would be a pain in the ass to make it look good.
  14. Wire Loom? That is kinda what I'm thinking, but it would have to be more durable, rubber like the factory door grommets.
  15. I'm thinking of something just like the factory grommet, not the same as you would use to run through the firewall. every time I come across the molex connectors they are a bitch. If I could get ahold of something just like the factory wires run through but about the size of a 0 guage or a little bigger, it would be perfect to run wires for the doors, and a lot less time consuming.
  16. Running wires into doors is such a pain in the ass with the molex plugs and whatnot. I would rather drill a new hole and put a second grommet in the door to easily fish my wire through. I've searched the internet for this very solution, and I have come up dry. Is there anybody out there that agrees with me or knows where I could find what I want?
  17. I think I just pooped my pants!

  19. I got all these bitches and all this cheese!!! These guys are funny as shit
  20. that's bull shit on their part. You should definately cut them off from it completely. Yeah they should be paying for it because that was the original plan but, I there's no way to really make them pay either.
  21. I wouldn't put any more than 300 on it. 1000 watts is just there to make a rather crap product look cool, I don't think it has much meaning other than that. Read lots and research on this forum, you will learn a lot.
