At 25 inches the port will stick out 10 inches into the box after the 90 degree turn with a 5.5" width. You have about, being slightly conservative, 11 inches of play there with the sub not hitting the port. That being said, you could mount them more towards the back hatch and they wouldnt ever get near the port. Im not sure if you would have unloading issues with the port like that though, as I have never made a sub up port back box, so if someone else could chime in, that would be loevely. As for going too big, 3.5 I believe is the 'suggested' size. My lvl 5 has a suggested size of 1.5 CF, its in 2.6 right now and wrecking shit. Your power handling will be plenty fine with a slightly bigger box as long as the power you send these are clean.

Heres what I whipped up. 43Lx22Wx21H with the sub up and the port running along the back driver side. I tried for a center box port like most try, but I couldnt really make it work. So . Port is: 19.5Hx5.5Wx25L with 3 common port walls coming out to 108 inches of port, tuned to 33.55 hz. If you could at all make the box taller though, id shoot more towards another half cube per, as this is sitting at about 7.07 net. So if you can make it taller/deeper with it being atleast 8" or so from your back gate, that would give you a bit bigger box, which id go for about 4 per. If I get bored later ill shoot you a sketchup. Tried plugging this in WINISD but it didnt want to take the lvl 3 specs, so , best I can do without slightly bigger dimensions if you can spare them.

Your dimensions are confusing me too...are you wanting a square box or an angled box, and are your first dimensions for your bottom height and the top for your top heigh?

What subs...what size subs...and why skimping on the port?

Idk about trial or free...everyone ive ever used cost between $1000 and $6000. I was lent them by my autocad teacher back in the day. Ill look around and see if I dont have a way to upload one for you if I still have them.

You cant really get before after results when comparing different deadeners. The camera cant pickup what your ears would hear when it comes to a change to the sound of the system. But google it and you can find before/after results of deadening. If you are wanting to get rid of all exterior sound (you wouldnt believe your ears the difference it will make) do your floor in a quality deadener. One QUALITY deadener I use is second skin. Many products cant compare, but when they do alot are in fact more expensive. Dynamat is quality stuff but their extreme is more expensive than SS and doesnt compare to damp pro from what I hear. Id do a pack of alpha damp and do as much coverage on the floor as you feel comfortable, atleast following the 25% coverage baseline. Then get a pack of their MLV (mass loaded vinyl), luxury liner or luxury liner pro. While the sound deadening will hinder the vibrations cause by rocks and debree hitting the underside of the car, etc, the LL or LLP will actually 'absorb' higher freuencies and airborne noises that the deadener wont stop such as some noise from your exhaust and just road noise. That stuff = amazing. The difference between LL and LLP is LLP actually has an added closed cell foam layer to lift it off the floor to give it a much better chance at stopping many of the sounds we dont want to hear in our car. As for before and after, heres one of regular damplifier on the roof:

you think ive got enough room for the airspace required for 4 of them? Measure and find out. You could probably fit a lot more than 4 12s back there. Full walls are normally much louder than backseat boxes/half walls. I dont get why people dont just fully wall....

You arent sealed off from the trunk completely it sounds like. You have air escaping out of the rear of the trunk. If you arent fully walled using a half wall/backseat box and arent sealed off 100% from the trunk you will normally be louder with the trunk open. Also, when you open the trunk it will change the acoustics of the car, changing airspace, etc. Any change to the pressure or airspace in the car will have some effect, as in changing your peak freq.

That's what I'm wondering but 12v would be fine too. Like say can you use a step-down and then use like 1-2 batteries to run the car/ mutli channel amps. Oh from stepdowns to 12v batts? Hrmmm...thats a good question. Im actually considering running a couple kinetic 16vs in my XS 16v bank...that way you have the 12v posts for highs and car...not sure how well that would work, but ive seen people mix 12v batteries many times with no problems.

Around here birch is only about $10 more than MDF per 4x8' sheet. If you're bad at making clean cuts though it can fall apart. I prefer birch as I am in a small car, and the more weight I can save, the better. And if I remember correctly I think birch is actually stronger than MDF as well.

You clearly dont know what goes into a new product in car audio, or designing a quality speaker/sub. Its goddamn near rocket science. I dont know how doing something the RIGHT way is 'fanciness'. If car audio wasnt about 'fanciness' as you proclaim all the pros would simply strap cinderblocks to their panels for 'mass loading'. There is a scientific background to everything about car audio, even TRUE CLD vibration dampening mats. Sticking foil on a sticky substance and calling it deadening is not how this works. If it was id eat a fuckton of hershy kisses and stick them on to double sided foam. TADA, NEW SOUND DEADENING MAMA.

Thats what some people think: Wrong PERIOD. Mass loading is an inefficient method for controlling vibrations. If this were true, a product like Damplifier which weighs in at .35 pounds per square foot would suck donkey ears, however it out performs products that weigh twice as as much and are twice as thick. All products add mass but that is not how properly designed CLD vibration mats are designed to work. So lumping all "name brand deadeners" into the same category is wrong.

Peel and seal does NOT have any of the same qualities second skin does. Not even close. To make a difference as a mass loader you'd have to add 4 layers of P&S to make a difference. By that time you'd be easily in the price range of damp if not closer to damp pro, without having to add multiple layers. Sound deadening is also NOT about just mass loading. In fact mass loading is a very inefficient way to deaden panels, which is why all you really need is 25-30% coverage of a panel to really deaden effectively. Damplifier and other REAL quality CAR sound deadening products actually do far more than just add mass to panels. Keep reading on places like here and in the SS section to get hard facts. Peel and seal sucks. Simply put. Spend cash on a box of Alpha damp, and going by the 25% coverage theory, most cars can be effectively sound deadened with just one pack. Doing a build PROPERLY is like building a house. Start with a good foundation and dont skimp, or the house wont last long before you're having to keep fixing the foundation. Do it right the first time ad you wont have to keep redoing it.

With a good box design and good voltage, 150 should be simple for that much cone, although too many variables to really tell. Theres some people doing 150s out of trunks with 12s, much less 15s. So with your setup, its possible. But a shitty install limits everything.
