But a bunch of 10s doesn't leave me as much money for a power increase down the road vs 4 15s.

Charge your batteries regularly. Don't play for very long with the car off. If you need to play the system for a while, turn the car on.

*trunk...you still planning to seal off firing forward, right? If so, why not port on driver side?

I like slot ports alot more than aeros IMO. Also slot would save you some space it looks like, but sealing off from the gunk would be more of a pain...hrmmm I'd still say slot.

1.) A friend would never talk you into giving up your system for their benefit. ESPECIALLY if you never offered it. 2.) When he said that, fuck no should have been your answer. No talking about it, no reasoning...a big and that should have been that. 3.) Whether he stole the bike or not thats not really the problem. Only reason it is is because your pissed that you fucked up and lost your system from this douchebag, so you want to get even. 4.) If you dont have proof he stole these things, chances are nothing will amount from you turning him in. You dont need stepdowns for the kinetics, as they have a separate 12v cell. Your problem is you have a rebuilt alt that cant charge at more than probably 15 volts, if that. A rebuilt alt is not the same thing as a high output alt, and cannot charge at more than 15.X volts. With the 16 volt batteries you need a true HO alt that can charge using a VCM.

Im just saying...if I was at the lowest point you can get, and had no way to feed my kids, id steal some food. Dumpster diving only gets you so far. But from a VFD? Prolly not, ill give you that. That being said it looks like he might have stolen more than food, but im just being the devil's advocate. Assuming its a meth addict is childish. It could be your well off next door neighbor.

Dunno how much could be "worse" than a VFD (VOLUNTEER fire department, aka people who put their own lives at risk to save others) losing their entire station, working on building a new one with all the support of countless fire districts, and some selfish asshole takes all their concessions because they're too fucking low to buy it on their own because they blew all their money on fucking snorting pills & building meth labs...people disgust me... Or maybe that motherfuckers house burnt down and his insurance company denied coverage while he was disabled in the fire and therefore couldn't work to feed his two children which his life left him and doesnt pay child support... Basically, when the volume on the headunit is turned down, you are getting minimal power to your amp. As your headunit volume is turned up, it pushes more power to your amp up to your 500 watts, until you stop clipping. That being said, 'setting the watts' on your amp isn't really how this works...

I can understand, but id like to be able to use whatever subs I get for my wall/4th order build later on. Even if I have to redone the 12s, I could still pickup like 2 lvl 5 12s and redone, vs getting a bunch of smaller 8s and having to sell them first.

The 12s I've looked at were rated at 1.5 cubes after displacement, the 15 about 3.5 after. So going by DCs for example, I'd save almost a quarter foot. Edit: more like .3 cubes actually. Haha

So I just Started my build and had decided to use 1 15 in the trunk firing forward and sealed off from the rear. My main reasoning was that you don't normally see 15s in the trunk, and I was going to use the that 15 and more for when I rebuild bigger. Now I'm considering 2 12s and just reconing them later to 15s, since 2 12s in theory should be louder, while also using less airspace. I'm kind of torn on the matter and was hoping for your guys help. Which has more of on awe factor to you?
