    Why not do it now and get it out of the way??? That way when you get the subs all you have to do is install them instead of having to wait a lil longer by having to build the box still. Just my thoughts.

    You gotta hit up Club La Vela while you're there, if you go. The biggest nightclub in the country. That place is awesome during Spring Break.

    Out of the last two opinions...I'll go with #2 over #1. A better built box will benefit more than just trying a different type of SPL run. That's 2nd on my list of things to do with my system.

    True there, you can have a bunch of crap vs. a little quality. The little quality is gonna sound better than the bunch of crap. No matter how you look at it, it's still gonna be a bunch of crap. I'm not saying that the Type R's are crap....just a general comparison. I've never heard or used Alpine products.

    I know the 15's have been out for awhile. I also know they're not for daily setups either. I wouldn't go with them for anyhting but all out SPL. I haven't heard anything about folks blowing them at less than the rated power though. That sucks for folks that have them I guess.

    With this one, did you calculate the sub and port displacement too??? I didn't think about that when I first read it. This one may just be the right size for you. Or at least as close as you're gonna get.
