That was my first box, before I got on here and learned a thing or two about ports, then my second box i fudged up and tuned way to high so this time I said screw it im going low so its box #3 and 30hz

Is the flexing of the top of my box hurting my output? Im going to add another layer of 3/4 MDF

Hey theyre not doin bad since I had a huge crack on the underside of each surround and glued it with foam glue... I think I need to add another layer or 2 to the top though cause I can see it flex somewhat, Wont that kill my SPL output?

No No No, I wish my subs had the right specs, The 12" Flame Q's do but 15"s dont, I thought about gettin 4 12s, cause i could probably get 2 off a buddy and do a 1/4 wave wall each in there own box, But ill probably just get another 1606 and 2 DC lvl4 15s or 18s and do a wall when I do, Whenever that may be, I would like to get a HO alt first though Just tryin to kill the Audiocraps for now

Yes... u have to lets say make a box inside the box, if that makes sense and u have to be 15in deep and keep a constant 5x9 the whole port

Box is done and man does it hit the lows...but i guess it would tuned to 30hz... I have to wait till Tues till i can carpet it...

Well I am building a new box cause my last one was s**t and the tuning was waaaaaaaay high, This box will be tuned to 30hz w/ about 180sqin of port These first few are a box for a buddy F-150 that fits under tha back seats...was kinda a pain w/ all the small cuts My New Box The Wood Starting the many cuts... There goes the first one... Second Sheet... Look at all those pretty ass straight edges... Construction... I will be finishing tommorrow, so more pics and vids then...
