yeah i know .. i checked w/ my local shop (they installed the amp, i installed everything else myself) they said it'd be fine .. but surprisingly it's only 350 wRMS but my lights get a significant dim .... new alternator is first step i guess or rewind mine to 200 Amps. was thinking cap, but ehh thanks for the concern tho i monitor it alot and don't play my stuff for more than 30 min or so at at a time

XLE verison ... legit ... garage kept .. i love it i'm 17 i do what i can but my audio will never be the best not even close i jst want it to sound good which it does to me!!! the only thing i hate is that you cant fold that little thing in the middle of the rear seat down to see inot the trunk you know? get more bass:)

hmmm well mine were new ... plus i get to beat up on this one for 2 weeks then get another NEW 2 ohm version so i dont have to wry about blowing this one ) thats a legit deal tho about ur friend! thats sick!! i got mine in a bandpass box now, sounds pretty good .. for a trunk car .. i'm hoping by throwing 150 more watts at it it should liven up a bit more EDIT: same car!

Blew my Aline Type-S duel 4 run @ 2 on 350WRMS off an Alpine Vpower amp ... smoke in the port and everything was kinda cool. went down to the local shop and picked up a JL W3, sounds pretty good so far ... they only had the 4 ohm version so let me borrow that for a week or2 until the 2 ohm comes in then it'll slap harder ... 350 wrms vs 200 wrms ... legit you guys believe its a better sub, right? i know JL is overpirced but i got it for 100 vs. 250 MSRP thanks!

thank you Kimo from Team Bassick for saying something other than"pics or it didn't happen"! I REALLY love the system so far - I say system you'll understand in a sec here - it's so awesome. Yes it does go louder and it's very clear at higher volumes - I think this is because I have it pushed off the head unit (the speakers I mean) @ I think 18 or 22 w RMS ... the speakers want 50 I think I will get a M and H amp later but for now it sounds good enough for me! UPDATE today i purchased the low end of my system! Got a 350 w RMS alpine amp going to run @ 2 ohms and a 12 inch Type-S DVC sub duel fours wired to the 2 ohm load in parallel got a boss wiring kit and a SICK bandpass? box one that's sealed and ported somehow .. i'll take pics later ... the box is SICK! will install saturday so you'll all DEF have pics by then! and he bought it himself it wasnt a gift

Installed this past weekend: (4) Alpine SPS-17C2 speakers (Stock locations: Rear deck and Front Doors) (1) Alpine IVA-D106 (1) Peripheral (SP?) Video Bypass device Seems like nothing but I'm 16 and first install EVER So i spent around 10 hours on it .... couldn't get the damned rear deck out for awhile, doors were easier Pictures hopefully soon, I don't have a digital camera ... but its CLEAN IMO .. can't see ANY of speaker work done and the headunit looks real good this weekend i'm going start on the low-end (bass) and hopefully finish it off soon!

Apple computers usually use "Pages" as the default text program, and "Word" for windows, obviously. Saving as MS Word document is fine, it'll be able to be opened in Pages with everything saved correctly. Hope this clears things up

i used to drive my father's car and put a small system in there - paid to have a shop do it. now that i have MY own car i'm determined to do it myself. i've literally done tens of hours of research on the net and it's almost time to put all this research into action ... sorry let me clarify. money IS an issue i'm 16 and make 10 dollars / hour! but been saving for ages and am determined to put the best stuff there is in my car ... but it sounds like either way i should run new wires either me or the shop ... i wonder if the dealer would have records of what wires were used ..
