  1. you make it sound like they said "no, goodbye" then hung up. they are a GREAT company bro, dont worry. If you paid for them, they will come. If you have any problems, i will see what i can do to help you. I used to run those springs in my other lexus. I am still in contact with them since i plan on dropping my ISF just a hair more once my 20's are on.... and i see how far i need to go, if at all. anyway, dont worry, they are coming.

  5. dude, who is that in your avatar? Jayden James, thank me later lol this might take a while....I'll be back when I have a blister TMI man, TMI. LOL
  6. JUST TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW I AM UPGRADING THE FORUMS AND IT WILL BE GOING DOWN FOR A FEW. HANG TIGHT IT WILL BE BACK SOON AND BETTER THEN EVER!
  7. I had everything flat and apparantly, i used the "power" eq setting because i forgot to check it......but thats ok because thats how i would normally have it anyway. Just like if you have a bass knob, you would want to put it around 3/4 of the way if not all the way up before you set the gains. You dont necessarily want to set it up TOO FAR away from where you know you will have your settings because you would be tossing all of it out the window if you cranked up the EQ's after you set it in a totally flat position. If you know you are pre-disposed to using the "loud" button on the deck (which i didnt here) you might want to put it on that and THEN set the gain. This way you can still have your extra power but still know where its clipping. It might clip at 55 instead of 59 but at least you would know that if you set it up from the beginning. the CD also has 0db, -5 and -10 db tracks......so you can set it totally flat and use a gain overlap to make up for where your other settings might be, but i dont think it would be as accurate.
  8. that is just the way you do it when setting the gain. After you are done you can put it where you like.
  9. lots of headunits dont clip......but some clip way before you ever thought they would LOL - also, the same process is used at your processor as well. You just start at the deck and work your way down the chain setting the gains one at a time. Its so simple its ridiculous.
  10. Video is up... its a long one but if you have never set your gains properly before, this will be an eye opener
  11. ya the blue one is the newer version. We arent 100% sure on pricing yet but it should be pretty easily affordable when said and done. thanks for the interest so far!
  12. here is some pics while i wait for the video to finish processing.....its 10 min long but interesting, if your interested in this type of thing. Also, i posted these on the very first post so they will be easier to find rather then all the way on page 12 - as you can see the prototype has changed. The battery life has been greatly enhanced, the case is new, it has a nice boot on it which is a nice touch. The FINAL version will have even more changes. As you can see this is still a full on prototype, but its getting better with each revision. hang on for a few, the video will be ready shortly.
  13. Ok FINALLY.....i just finished editing up a 10 Minute video showing you how to set your amp gains like a pro......with the new SMD Distortion Listener - up in about 1hr stay tuned! i know its a long video but worth it if you want to know how the device works and even better how to set your gains properly, for a change! (for all you play-by-ear kinda guys) i know 99% of you dont have an O-Scope so you will be really interested in this, if not, you should be

  15. i got video of the process as well. Its really a cool experience watching your rims get built from the ground up and carved from a block of aluminum into a wheel. I even saw them drawing it up on CAD, which is also on the vid too.
  16. thanks!! it just sucks that this is a process...and there is waiting involved. But i guess it takes time when you are doing it right. Im not ruling out having some new 6's made by them for the Hoe after what i saw at there shop today. Talk about the Real Deal Holyfield.....
  17. Ok i updated the original 2 posts with a bunch of new pictures from today. Its actually a brand new forging they just came out with that will allow me a decent lip. We are shooting for 5" in the rear and 4 up front. Again they will be all black, black rivets and a slight bevel around the spokes which will be machined off and cleared. These things are going to be nasty!
  18. he said somewhere that it still needs some little odds and ends done, but not right away ya its missing a few items and isnt in great shape.....but the way we work is in phases. He will send it to me to do some suspension upgrades, which we plan on doing, and when we do ill send it over to roy for paint. None of this stuff is any hurry really. He lives an hour away so it makes it tougher to do the little odds and ends fast. We just do em when we do em i guess
  19. Just saw a video they musta done today....Chicken enjoying the hoopty without me .....its ok im just playin, im actually happy that he is so happy with it.
  20. windows movie maker is probably the easiest and the video's can come out damn good if you do it right....and its free. I use Sony Vegas Pro 10 but i did LOTS of vids on WMM before i graduated to the better stuff.
  21. its coming! trust me on this. I am taking tomorrow off and all next week, i will have time for sure.....the updated product is on the way too, new and improved so if it gets here before i make the video, ill just use that one. It is much better and you will see why. Hang tight! thanks for your interest and your patience! i just showed it to Bill (kingsuv) yesterday and i think he will agree this thing is easy and works very well.
  22. actually, these guys are probably 1000 bigger then most realize. They make most of the rims for a lot of those big companies, who rebadge under their name. Get this, they are even the ORIGINAL manufacturer of the "roadstar" wire wheel from back in the day. AZA is also known as Sinister wheel, and they make some SICKKK motorcycle rims. anyway, this is my first set of custom one-off wheels rather then grabbin some off the shelf at the local rim shop so im very excited. The rims on the Tahoe are my FAVORITE style, thats why i bought them......not because they were affordable, but because i love the style and the deep dish. But lets face it, i have seen my rims on more cars then i care to mention and in about every size from 20 to 26. It sucks, just like a girl going to a party and seeing someone with the same dress LOL! I love them but thats teh suckz when you see your wheels multiple times on the blvd.
  23. Exactly! ...and I thought it was nice stock.. a lot of people say that but i am just not a fan of the stock BBS's. No lip and i think they are kinda ugly. They are sick for what they are and they come "staggered" from the factory even though you cant tell with the naked eye, the fronts are different then the rears, but i dont care......something about them i dont like. Not to mention they SUCK to clean. To much shit going on lol.
