nahhh, only if they are interested in this type of stuff..... seems like people who like it LOVE it and people that hate it are the biggest assholes there is, PERIOD. Most of them anyway. You should see the type of messages/comments i get from the people who dont like it. They are downright nasty. So ya if you know someone who likes the type of thing you find here, go for it! if not, dont sweat it

Just got my new XS Power Intellicharger and tonight i put it to work. Its like 1/8th the size of the bigger ones but should do the job just fine. So far, this little buger is great! I dont think its on the website anywhere yet but im sure if you ask where to get one, they will tell you. I like this thing much better then the big red box, although i have no problem with those either I just dont drive the Tahoe as much and my other 2 chargers are on the Rezcalade and the Honda. I figured i would give the new one a try on the Tahoe.

'91 corolla on 26" wheels (pic)
meade916 replied to meade916's topic in Wheels and Tires - The rubber hits the road here!
funny part is, that to me, larger then life wheels like 30's really only look good if you can cut the vehicle and lay frame (with exception of a hummer which looks fine either way). if i was to cut this and lay the ol' tercel on the ground, the wheels would be like 6" past the hood -
i posted this on Facebook the other day since its easy to post "mobile" pics there....figured i would post it here now LOL - if you squint, you can see it! for those that think i am serious, this is a joke, i just wheeled the 6's over for a photo while we were working on Chickens Hoopty. If anything it shows how big these things are

IMO, spiral upcut is the best....

if you see any white in any well, that means they were still in the process of doing it and i took the picture before they finished. The wells will ALL have black undercoating in them.....trust me there will be no white when done. On the suggestion, that is the reason i closed my suggestion box lol, i got this handled! just dark enough to blend in but not so blacked out that they are not usable anymore. I experimented with the Altezza's that used to be on it and to me, it looks terrible compared to how Roy does it (he uses Clear coat with a little bit of black to tint) thats what Hot-glue is for! j/k, its not hard to put mounting holes in a fiberglass roll pan let us finish bro.

thanks!! the one thing i still havent decided, and Chicken will really have to decide, is whether or not the side steps will go back on. I like it better without them but its an Escalade, not a Tahoe so it kinda needs them on there. We will put one on, show Chicken, and see what he decides. More updates on that this week i think...

Gonna have to show me what a set of 1200 shocks looks like... I thought you did all the air ride on this? The air bags were done previously (9 years ago) and while i had it, i replaced everything, all 4 bags, and added another $1500 worth of Air Ride Technologies self leveling ground height sensors & E2 Ecu. The little mini caddy switchbox is cool and all, but this thing has some pretty sophisticated stuff that is hidden. I left the box in it so he can keep some of his oldschool flavor He didnt want to part with it so i tied it in to the rest of the stuff. Anyway, even with all that work i did to the air ride, I never re did the shocks although i had plans to. The rears are stock and all wore out. The front has NEVER had shocks and makes for a scary ride, from day 1 when FBI did the original install. While Chicken had it for about 8 months (and was slackin' on letting me finish it) two of the sensors got broken. So now we are back on track, paint, rims, and finally getting the suspension fixed once and for all. here is the shocks - They are $1100 plus tax and shipping so around $1200 - They are double adjustable (rebound and compression). Same ones i have on my Tahoe and they are GREAT. I have new ride height sensors on the way and i should be able to get it all back in perfect order shortly after i get it back from Roy.

i have more pictures, i just havent uploaded yet but this will do for now also i just ordered some $1200.00 Ridetech Titanium shocks for the rear....when it gets to my shop and i see what i have to do to fab up the front shock mounts....then i will order another set. so this week the new headlights, tailights, and HOPEFULLY shocks and ground height sensors will be here. Roy should be done with the caddy by tomorrow and then i can start putting the doors back together and get it rolling again! The front shocks will be the only thing holding me back after that. It will take some work to get those things to be proper but i know i can do it...just a matter of parts and some time. please click this link if you want to leave a comment! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/906-chickens-2002-caddy-the-hoopty-8-18-fi-btl-rockford-fosgate-2-t15k-amps-new-rims-on-page-325/page__st__6580 thanks!

sorry to keep bringin' it up but we're at 98,515 with alexa though, its hard to get to excited because i will eventually lose some more traction again - but it feels great to set site records!! Plus, once im not too far off of the car audio site that has the best alexa number that i know.......if this site hawks that one down, i will swig an olde 8 40 on the spot. hahah. I already got them in "google page rank" i just need that alexa number now to be official! Shootin for low 80k's, although its a long shot!
