This a long vid of some pics I took today at a car show by my house. In all about 238 pics were taken...really did not realize I took so many till I got home and uploaded them on to my computer. Ok most of ya know that I no longer have a car and instead I walk or ride my bike everywhere I go. Sure it's great exercise and what not, but when it comes to riding in an area with no sidewalk it gets kinda dangerous. Cause people who are in cars are not paying any attention to whats around them. I have almost been hit on a few occasions, but always seem to be able to avoid it. What pisses me off about that is the driver always gets mad and honks at me as if it was my fault. Drivers need to be more aware of whats around them. I doesn't matter if it's someone walking, riding a bike or even a motorcycle. Hell just last week a guy on a motorcycle was hit and killed on the highway cause the driver of a car wasn't paying attention. I don't know all the details of that accident, but just goes to show you have to pay attention on the road. Sorry for the little rant, but I had to get that off my chest...I just can't stand how inconsiterate people can be these days.

Ok well finally after getting my cell turned back on I was finally able to talk to my mom bout that truck, as it turns out she is able to drive again so I wont be getting the truck after all. Kinda sucks cause I was looking forward to having somethng with a motor again. Oh well.....maybe one day I'll find a good deal near by.

I'm no guru but decided to give it a shot, I did the front wheel lip blue and the rear in red. but I'm sure someone will do a better job.

I had to make a quick run to the store for dinner anyways on my way there I spotted this black F150 ext. cab at a used car dealer. I took a quick look, this thing was custom. It was bagged, you can see the nitrogen tank in the bed in the video. Also had an whole Alphasonic sound system it. Custom door pods that each held 2 comp. sets. Had 3 (I think) 12" subs in a ported enclosure, and a single 8" sub in the middle of the bed...yeah not sure why either. No idea how many amps it had, sorry the video is not long...I was in hurry to get home. But I'll throw up the video for it anyways. Sorry the quality sucks, shot this with my phone.

I'm going to get this truck for sure. I do not know when yet, my mom had surgery on Monday. Just waiting to see what my next couple paychecks will look like. I'm def. going to do a system in it. Question tho, are there any good shallow mount subs? I don't want to do a blowthro, at least I don't think I do.

Finally figured it out....won't miss too much work. Basicly I'd leave on a wed. night and get there on thurs morning, that would give me most thursday to spend time with my mom. Only get to see her once a year at christmas, so yeah. The drive home I got to go through my old neighbor hood so might as well drop in and say hey to a few friends. Wont be for a couple of weeks till I can get out there, but yeah....I'll be calling tomorrow to see if she will be around then and also talk to my friend Rachel to see if she will me at the greyhound station to make things easier on my mom.

That is good to know, just in case I need to use it as truck one day. I am really starting to lean towards getting this truck.

Has anyone done a SQ set up in a truck like this? If I do get this truck thats the direction I think I'm going to go with it.

There have been a few times when I wished I still had a ride, Guess I'll figure out a way to go get it. Then figure out what to do with it after I get it here. Ah hell, ideas for audio are starting to creep into my mind.

The truck is free, getting it is not. Just to get it back here would be around $200+ and right now I barely got $2

Yeah could of used one a few months ago when I moved. I know if I do take it, I wont leave it alone. Every vehicle I have owned has been modded in some way or another. Guess thats cause I grew up going to car shows and had a hot rodder for a grandfather and he taught me a lot of the stuff he knows.

Ok so I could possibly be getting a new truck, well new to me anyways. I don't remember the year, but its some where around '90 or '91. It's a Ford 150 Reg. cab. It has the staight 6 in it, which is ok...wouldn't plan on doin any towing or hauling really. It has one small problem, that the gas gauge doesn't work, possibly an easy fix. I dove this thing back around christmas, it runs great. Had good acceleration, trans shifted smoothly. Only complaint is the seat was freakin uncomfortble. Possibly do a bucket seat swap. Oh and the best part is the price....FREE. Only cause it belongs to my mom. Just found out she has something in both hands and can no longer drive. But to be honest I don't know if I want this truck or not. For one I would have to travel 6 hours just to get it, well more like 12 cause thats how long it takes grey hound to get there from here. So thats 18 hours of travel time, and I would only have one day to do it in. Possibly two. Should I accept thsi truck from my mom or should I just tell her to sell it?

R.I.P Mr Carrol Shelby. He was truely a legend in the racing world and an icon to a lot of people.
