Well yah go for the T-Line and if you don't like it, build a new one. I built a box and rolled with it for a week, didn't like it an built a new one. It is all about build and rebuild until your happy.

Best 15" Sub Thats At A Reasonable Price.
REVOK1NER replied to Clif's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
X2 go with the T4 or T5, mine get really loud(144.3) with about half of their rms -
It is really your call. Are you confident that you can build a decent T-Line? If so, will it sound good? If you answered yes then go for it haha. If not, build the box AMatt85 gave you plans for and try a T-Line later on. Or you can try the T-Line and if your not happy, start over, if you have the time that is.

REVOK1NER replied to ARMYSGT_D's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
I read that everything inside the Rockford amps is screwed down so you should be just fine but I'm sure the dynamat wouldnt hurt -
Guy with two level 3 15s in reno on a soundstream xxx6500 put up 148.7
-
A LVL 4 15 about 6 months ago was $350, haven't checked since.
-
Ask gotFI how much he is pushing because he has a T3000 on two lvl 4 15s with lvl 5 coils
-
Oh definitely, If you wanna know exactly how much, PM Rusty, he has told me the numbers before but I forgot. But like I said I have seen 12's taking 1200-1500 RMS so a LVL 4 18 with lvl 5 coils should be fine with around 1500. Edit: Bryan, I'm not saying it is, just saying they can take more then they are rated at.
-
You can push a lot to them I know someone with two lvl 3 15s pushing 2000 rms to them,i also have a friend with a lvl 4 12 pushing 1200 rms to that.

Would You?
REVOK1NER replied to WhatsaSasuke's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
Price seems odd to me, but go for it. -
Well I stand corrected, but anyways go with the BL or a LVL 4 with LVL 5 coils. What would you be using to power any of these choices?
-
The AudioQue shouldn't even be a choice considering they don't have an 18".

Looking For Sub/amp Combo
REVOK1NER replied to DWeezy3one3's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
Build yourself a box Sub: Go with a 12" RE SE, should be a decent sounding combo for the money. RE SE 12" Amp: Hifonics BXi1206D Rated at 1200 RMS @ 1 ohm, does a little under that. BXi 1206D In total you may spend around $350, good combo though. -
Haha wow that was pretty cool, I am guessing he had the same problem as a child that seth from superbad did haha.

As some of you may have seen, I had my build up on here, my box is really big it is about 12 cubes after port, 20 before, it is tuned to 32hz, and I know, really big for 2 15s. By the way I am running two soundstream T5 15s I haven't had a chance to get it metered yet because Rusty has been sick so I don't know much my numbers have increased. But I was thinking about building a box, maybe around 12 cubes before port 7-8 after, I am going to keep it below my window line so it isn't considered a wall, and I can't figure out what to tune it to because soundstream doesn't say I also can't find a recommended box size. I was just wondering if since my box right now is really close to the roof of my explorer (6-7 inches) I may see an increase or decrease in numbers with a smaller box but tuned around the same and I am assuming closer to the recommended size. Also, I was thinking subs up port up, the port would run the entire width of the box as I have seen in another t5 set up.
