  1. Is there anything I would have to do to my amp or audio settings when I do this?
  2. As title says, is it possible to do it, will it still sound the same since the sound waves you will hear are coming from the back end of the sub.
  3. Ya, crutchfield blows, they said my car had rear speakers yet my year didnt even have rear speaker mounts anywhere in the vehicle.
  4. If anything man, you got the amp, go buy a really nice single 15 DC or something, cough up a extra $50 and make yourself a box.
  5. I seen a build before where a guy applied deadener, then put mdf bounded to the roof, and it worked pretty damn well.
  6. Try this RF T2 6.5 Comp RF T1 6x9 Power them with this T400-4 RF amp, will do 60 watts to each speaker set, if you want more power try this T600-4 RF amp, now this will do 100 watts to each set.
  7. That changes it quite a bit, down to 4.25 Cu a sub and 37 Hz tune with displacements
  8. I don't really know, someone down my block threw them out, I took them home and they worked perfect, sorry if that Offended you but the high speakers were blown anyways, so I just took them out all together, threw a 6x9 there with its own seperat + - terminal
  9. Main reason, I cut some wholes in the box to put a 6x9 in top, but now I put my 6x9's back into my car, so I have little 1" speakers tapped to the whole, and on songs it rattles like crazy so I know it reduced the bass. Thats the other thing I was interesting in, for people who make custom boxes and shit for home audio, how do they crossover the the signal?
  10. Well you posted this int he SQ section, so I am guessing you want this budget on SQ, well that is not going to happen at all. RF which is some good shit costs a damn good penny, and if you start talking serious SQ gear, Focal 6.5 Component 3-way set is around $5000
  11. This isn't the wrong section, i am asking help on a enclosure, this is the subwoofer/enclosure section.
  12. Omg, and all this fucking time I thought Oscope was the only way, I have like 4 of these damn things in my garage!
  13. WHAT U CAN USE AC VOLT METER! i feel dumb, thought it was o scope to set gains. w/e I can do this then my only question, when you need to cross reference the voltage and shit, I don't know how to figure that out
  14. Well I never have used an O scope before on my sub or head unit, so I don't know at which point the gains and the HU clips. I never really go above 30 and my max it 35, it's just always been around there that my bass gets WAY to hard and gets bad in some songs. As for my amp I know that all amps clip at max, so I never went max, short maybe a .5 cm around. It would get smelly from time to time, and I would just slowly turn down the gain, and now I set it earlier today and it doesn't smell at all, even now for some reason it slaps harder than it did before. I have one songs tickle my nose and another make it feel like I have a small fan on my face. All I got to say is I am very happy and its awesome to slap so hard so long Edit: Lol on the mispell of oscope, ha stoned
