it was just a quick crappy math idea that 2400( 1 ohm rating ) - 1700 ( 2 ohm rating ) would equal 900 LOL not sure how i passed my classes last year. haha

yeah im sure ill hear a diff.. well according to the ratings im running at 1700rms right now, and with my huge box im assuming i have some pretty high Rise going on so im like 90% sure im not getting 1700rms at 2 ohms.. im guessing more like 1400-1500.. so if i go .5 i should be over 2400 correct? with rise etc ill be below probably lol but ill try to find out how to clamp it and really find out lol.

well shit thanks guys, ill wire it down to .5 ohms cause ive been hating only pushing like 1700rms to my re's. at .5 i should get more then 2400 i think lol , going to talk to ray or ram about a new box design and build a new box and run the amp at .5 and i should hear a new system lol

so im thinking of ordering a Mechman 270 amp alt soon.. so i was wondering if i had the 270amp alt, my Kinetik HC1400 2nd bat, and my stock battery under the hood that i could handle .5 ohms daily on my hifonics BRZ.2400 lol ive heard people doing it with good electrical.. would save me some money and time trying to sell it lol

well im limited to wanting 2k rms at 2 ohms or .5 ohms, so its really expensive for an amp that does 2k-3k @ 2 ohms, or hard to find one that does it at .5 and hope my electrical can handle it lol

im looking at a SPL FX1-5500D amp, for 380$ its rated for 3200rms@1 ohm, and 2500@ 2 ohms.. which would work awesome for me.. but i wanted to know do they do rated and are they any good? lol
