From the chevys Ive worked on, they tend to get feedback through the speakers sometimes that's why I asked. Just thought if it was a chevy then that might possibly be a reason.

I just "attempted " to set my subsonic and low pass filter today. It sucks that hifonics didn't make more marks for.setting these (quarter marks would have been good atleast) but I tried to set them as good as I could. What I read on here is, set the subsonic to where you want the lowest hrz to play and set the lowpass to where you don't want it play above a certain hrz. For me for example my box is tuned to 32 hrz so I set it where it wont play anything below 27 hrz and it.won't play anything above 80 hrz. Hope this helps. Maybe someone can.correct me if.im wrong. Ps. Sorry.for all the.periods. im.on mobile :/

I ended up going with 34. Was shooting for 32 but miss read some calculations and ended up as 35. Haven't played it yet but im hoping it sounds good. Im sure its gonna be much better then the sealed box!

I listen to mainly tech nine, skrillex just music with alot of bass and occasionally rock. Would a ported box even sound good with fast flowing music like skrillex?

So would possibly 32hz sound better then 35 and peak lower so I get more of the low end bass? This is my second time building ported box and first time building one for myself. I would do what everybody says and build boxes till.I find what I like but I don't have the time,patience or money to do that right now. I built a box for two sex 12s that was 4cuft3 tuned to 34 hz and it seemed to hit the lows pretty good but that was also for a camry with the box in the cabin not the trunk.

2.5 tuned to 35hz or would you go lower tuning? This is for daily. Just looking for good output. The vehicle is an f250 so im trying to gather as much space I can and still keep it looking stock.

I would post this in the RE section but it says read archive only. Question is, What is the smallest possible cuft3 box I could run for 2 re sex 10s ported. I know the online suggested minimum size is 1 cuft3 per woofer. Just wondering if anybody has messed around with boxes for this sub?
