just got a new muffler installed on my 03 v10 and moved the exhuast forward and added a 6" tip...the muffler is a custom designed muffler from mufflerman in O.C. I got it done today and it seems like I'm getting worse gas mileage then before(I had a gibson catback performance muffler)..could it be that the muffler isn't giving the engine the right back pressure? Or does it take a little bit for the engine to get used to a new muffler? Also it kind of smells weird..but idk if its because of the new muffler? And suggestions on what it could be?

Well the light problem didn't happen till after I went offroading with it...so I think I messed something up...and I might just have to take it to my dealer if changing the filter doesn't work...thankfull I have a 3 year full warranty for buying it used or I would be screwed

About 77k miles...I changed the oil about 4 months ago but that's it...the last tune up was about 7 months ago...but I've never changed the tranny filter...I don't do any towing but I do carry stuff in the bed...and yeah its been off roading a couple of times... And when I turn on my headlights which are HIDs my abs light comes on and my speedometer like goes down then back up then the abs light turns off....could it be something wrong with the computer?

Would that cause the weird shifts?

When I got under the truck I. Heard like a deisel idle kind of sound coming from the tranny area...my trans temp says its a little low could that mean anything?

So I have an f250 v10 and I'm have problems with the shifting..its an automatic. But recently when I drive it the rpms go up and down and it up shifts and down shifts at weird times...the most noticable is when I get on it, it hits 3k rpms then sticks there for a while then will either up shift or down shift..this is the first time its happened to I'm starting to thing that somethings going bad on it..and ideas on what it could be? Any help is appreciated thank you.

Yeah its weird I'm officially out of high school today and its like wth where did all the time go? Wednesday is the day I graduate then I'm officially out off high school...hopefully I make it far enough to be a contribution to society :0

Its weird to think that in 4 hours I start the last day of my high school career. Four years gone just like that, seemed like it would never end and now it finally is coming to its closing. Its such a sureal feeling knowing that, now, a new life starts where I'm realiable for how my life turns out, and that out of the 500 people in my graduating class, ill will only probably see 20 of them ever again... Did anybody ever have this feeling of how sureal high school was? Any regrets during or after high school you wish you could have or didn't do?

Yeah I'm on the fence about the situation cuz I don't know if its the shop hassling me or if its RE hassling the shop. RE is starting to get a little fishy to me cuz when I try to email some one from there about if they are or aren't shipping things out I never get a reply. I just hope if RE is going down the pooper that I get my subs before they just up and leave. :/

Yeah I had them dial in my amp cuz I'm not the smartest at doing that(and so they couldn't blame me for any problems with the subs) and yes my enclosure is good, I talked to greg(usampfreak) and he said it would do just fine for my application

So this shop I'm buying/bought some of my stuff through is really starting to piss me off. I went in there and bought 2 re sex d4 10s and a hifonics brz2100. Get home go to put the subs in the box I made and realize they're different(both sex series just on is made here and one is made in china, and the are cosmetically different as well) ok so not that big of a deal...I start using the subs and what not and start hear a sound..as if the dustcap is being flicked, I check and its all in the clear...so I go back to the shop (which is a costly thing for me as I drive an f250 v10 on 36s and the shop is about a 30 mile round trip) and tell them what's up, and they said ok we'll order you new ones and all that good stuff. So now I've been waiting almost 2 months to get these subs and they guy keeps saying RE is hassling him and that the keep saying they're are shipping out so it should take long but I still haven't gotten them, which I don't believe it should take this long to ship the subs from the warehouse which is 10 minutes from my house and 30 from the shop..idk I'm just annoyed by people who hassle kids/teenagers cuz there parents aren't in there with them so the owner thinks he can just fool with me(I'm. 17 btw) I would really love to just walk in there and sucker punch this guy for the wait he has been making me deal with. /rant

Its not worth it to drink four lokos, I haven't heard one person say they enjoyed it. They fuak you up and make you sheeiit and piss a rainbow. They are illegal to produce now and once they are sold out they will be gone for ever. A guy in my city died from seizuring out after drinking one.

The gibson I have on there right now is the more sporty sound like you hear when a nascar car goes by but has a little rumble in it. What I want it to sound like is how the 2002 f150 V8 triton sounds like, or more like how the dodge super bees sound if you know what I mean.

The truck: 2003 f250 6.8L V10 Current exaust: Gibson setup not sure which one (bought the truck used). But it does have a FAT muffler. What I'm looking for: Deep beefy sound, not the annoying loudness though just something that's beefy and sounds good. Possible other things that matter: Already has the over sized piping Has a K&N intake. That's pretty much it. Any help and input would be nice. I've heard some exaust systems on V10s sound boggy and not good at all so I want to know what will sound good before buying. Thanks!

I just installed 2 sets of HIDs in my f250 they are 35w ballast with 8000k bulbs. The question is will the HIDs in my fog lights melt the housing? The seem to get a little warm but I haven't done any distance driving with them in so I'm just wondering if I need to watch the length of usage?

Got it hooked up to the ignition and it works! Thanks! Only downside is the whole car sounds like a rattling can
