  1. i've been working alot, got alot saved up for him and alot of the stuff babys need. and thanks
  2. Sweet. Whats the sub and port placing? And could you help me message him?
  3. Any ideas? Please help. I've been looking at different box designs people have done with trunk installs. Would port and sub facing forward into the cabin be louder?
  4. I want to get started on building a box for the sub. it'll be going in the trunk of a 95 Bonneville. I have the back seats out so an option of a sealed trunk install is available, but it wont be for long because my gf is due in December. i should have a second car soon, so i'm open to ideas pertaining to that install. Ill measure the available trunk space as soon as i get up in the morning. But i have a couple questions... Will a sub and port facing the cabin from the trunk get loud? how about the sub mounted vertical (cone facing Lid) be louder and port facing towards the back of trunk or into the cabin? Any help is greatly appreciated. Once i get the dimensions, I'll post them and edit my Original post. I can donate $10 towards someone that's experienced in calculating enclosures that'll help me get blueprints. Thanks, Larry

  7. sweet, thats good to hear ur problems fixed!
  8. hopefully i get to look at it today after work. any more suggestions?
  9. check your rca cables as well, wen i was installing my first system. my wiring near the rear seats in my car melted. it caused the subs to bump weird. check your grounds
  10. make sure your speaker wires to your amp terminals arent touching or sticking out and touching another.
  11. sick dude, othr dood salty. "he aint gone make it" i like how ur gf wanted you to get higher numbers, atast she likes wat u like
  12. before i go an take out batts and stuff. i used to have the batteries wired only from pos to pos then to amp. but the grounds of each battery in the trunk were on the body of the car. up front i have done the big 3 but now the pos and negs of each battery are parallel and each batt in trunk also still have a body ground. could that effect anything
  13. ^IMO, this should be the first red flag. running 3 completely different batteries is probably a bad idea ive never put much stock into that theory. my 1st set of batteries was a yellowtop, NGT, batcap, and i was borrowing a kinetik. changes all my batteries to kinetik and had no change at all. just cost me a bunch of money. just my experience. ahh. i still havnt had time to check the setting on the amp cuz of skatin, the weathers been so nice lately and up this skatepark there gonna be havin a comp and i really wanna make it big this year. but tonite ill check it out
  14. do u think thats why their not giving as much power as it used to? all the batts are new and i knjow i shouldnt have mix and matched them
  15. thanks guys :] and ill check my setting today after school. do u guys think it could be because the alt. cant keep up?
  16. ill barely turn up the bass knob and it wont slap hard at all like it used to
  17. i just installed my 3rd battery in the trunk of my car. their hooked up to an AP3000.1d but now it feels like im not getting almost any power as i had before when i only had 2 in the trunk.... before i had a Exide Orbital AGM and a X Static Batcap 800 all powering my amp and 2 15 L7s. now i have Exide> Stinger spv44> batcap 800 > amp. i can turn the bass knob mostly all the way for 3 or 4 minutes till my voltage drops from 14v to around 12.4 - 13.6v but it spund weaker than before.... i also moved my amp and build a rack for eveything outta left over 3/4 mdf wood layin flat in my trunk. my amps setting turn dials are facing a corner of my trunk now. maybe i accidentally turned the dials while i was trying to drill and screw the amp down to the wood. (it took me a good 15 mins to start and tighten 1 screw ha and i know i was touching the dials with my fingers and nails..) but i havent checked yet... i know i should have before i posted this. but do you guys have idea why my system aint even nearly as loud as it used to be? thanks, Larry
  18. im a noob at this, i dont really understand anything at all about building my own box, can you help me with this? like draw it out for me. i can pay you for helping

  21. oops my bad. i fixed the measurements, was lookin at em in centimeters
  22. i need help...bad.. :] ive been looking on google and cant reallu find clear specs to building a box for these subs, if anyone can help me itll be very much appreciated. the trunk of a 95 bonneville sse when i measured it is: l x w x h in inches 49.25 x 31 x 20.5 theres more room but it gets narrower because of how the body is built insde the trunk to the back seats so im goin to use that room for the amp and batts
  23. Wat amp u got on them? my bad, mobile internet cuts off topic ha
