  1. i use 11in per cube in mine. 2 level 5 18's off 2 sundown SAZ 3500's. im tuned to 26 and peak at 31, it gets windy and loud. 5.4 cubes per woofer after displacements.
  2. i have been hearing that the carbon dustcaps can gain up to half a db..... is this true? Thanks
  3. I'm doing a 151.x at 20Hz with 2 18's in the format mentioned above. Box is tuned to 28 and peaks at 33.
  4. can i get a price on 2x 5k amps and a price on 2x 7.5k amps shipped to the uk please
  5. i thaught the new level 5's were having bigger coils??? has all the info not been released on them yet?
  6. ill be going for dual 2's. run em at 4 ohms each, then all 3 down to 1.33 2x SAZ 3500's strapped, seeing 0.66 each. should work well i think........
  7. i dont know of many/any walls with 3 18's in there. it should be pretty immense, hoping for a 158
  8. Whats the difference like wit the AR cones? im considering upgrading to these on my level 5's, along with carbon caps and direct leads. what is the sound difference like, and will ig gain/loose me numbers? its a boomer, but i still want high numbers from it.
  9. Thanks man! ill try and buy it before the stock runs out tho.
  10. it will have to come from DC as my distro has to bring them in (in the uk) but if there are none left ill take one off you You do know that Rob works at dc and would be the one building your subs. i do now lol! when do you think the remainder will last till, as i wont need it till a few months time, but if needs be i will order before!

  12. as per title, are there many left? i may be after one in a few weeks
  13. tis what im trying to find out can they be modified in any way to cope with an extra half a volt?
  14. will a 110.4 be ok at 16.5v? 14v batteries. Thanks
  15. its not as easy as that tho, ill need 5 pr 6 step downs, which arent cheap, thats why im trying to find the best way of doing this before i commit thousands to the power supply. Does anyone on here run their SAZ3500's on 18v DAILY DRIVE, and for MUSIC FOR LONG PERIODS. or is this really for SPL use only? the issue i have is being in the uk, I WILL LOSE MY WARRANTY if i run them at higher voltage. if people run them daily at that voltage and there are no problems then i am willing to do it, but i will need to see some good results/evidence that it will work. Thanks Guys!
  16. That's a lot of money for strpdowns! I have just found out about a kinetic 16v battery that has a 12v post too, so I could use that under the hood! Think that's solved my problems!
  17. Could I run my car electrics and another 80amps of current draw from the front end amps off of a couple of 12v batteries and 2 step-downs? Or would I need more step downs?
  18. Well if I can find a way of doing it I may well run a 16v system. Anyway, do you have a useful answer to the question I asked?
  19. How do you guys step your 16v audio power down to 14v to run the car? I really want to run a 16v setup, but I can o ly fit 2 Alts in my car, so can't run a 3rd for a separate 14v setup. I'm looking to put a deposit down on some XS Powers either today or tomorrow and need to know what ones to get! Any help would be great!
  20. what if future plans include adding another amp? if just the 1 amp, i agree, over power the subs. but if you want room to upgrade amp/add another, underpower for now.
  21. That much? id say maybe that much on an 18v setup, dunno bout 16 tho? I dont see that much being out of the question .Would all depend on rise and etc . WOW! ill definately be doing that in the new year then! they run at 0.7 each, so thatll help with power numbers etc, and for burps i could strap them at 0.35 so each amp sees 0.175ohm load. altho i think id be too scared to do that!
