I am thinkin bout gettin a ipod at least 4GB....so that i dont have to worry bout skipping.but i have heard of some that do skip? so do you guys think that it is even worth the money to get one so that i dont have to worry bout the skipping and then i can turn my amp up because i am really restricted cause of the dash movement and deck skipping so i want an ipod so i dont have to worry bout that and than i can turn my shit up without worrys So any suggestions or any advice would be great! i just took a self taping screw and screwed it rite into the seat mounts and it works fine.

How much does that cost? and where can i get that?

Shit i do 140-145dbs daily and iv been told that i can be heard from bout a mile away. 1.) if you can be heard from aways away. 2.) when your sittin in your car and it looks like your vision is blurry. 3.) if it tickles your nose. 4.) excesive window flex. if you got those than i would say yea

who has a Eclipse CD-5000? i am wondering if it has a ipod hook up? and where is it?

fine if that is wat you want to do....you go rite ahead and you can take the seat out to get the box too. and yea i could build one i would just use the CNC machine at work do it outa clear plexi then i would have a box that looks and sounds good!

yea L7s are great subs my cuz used to have 2 15's of the ones with the silver cone and the blue logo....and he had his in a 8cu.ft. clear plexi box that was tuned to round 32hz and it sounded great...he had a RF amp that was running at round 800RMS and we pounded the shit out of those and they took it like champs he had them for just bout 11 months and he loved them.but he sold them to upgrade too 2 15" solo-Xs but yea L7's are definatly a good sub.

Yea definatly!!the box can definatly make or break a setup so yea i wouldnt go ne smaller than the recommended..and i would go with a ported box!!i used to have 2 12" RF P2s in a small seald box and it sounded ok but then i cut 3-1/2in holes and stuck 2 3-1/2in aero port tubes in it and you wouldnt believe the diff. and then i went to a 6cu.ft. box at 32hz(my current box) and now i have the 2 12" TC-1000s in and i am rite round the low to mid 140dbs ..so deff ported!

yea i say the Audiopulse they are TC subs....I have the TC-1000s and they are the same as the AudioPulse EPICS. and i love them!!!! in my opinion they are the best of both worlds!!! (sound quality and they move like crazy) so i say audiopulse.but thats just me!!!!they are great subs!!

i just put in the Eclipse CD5000 deck....and i am still trying to tune it...which is gonna be the hardest part.but the main reason why i bought it is because i used to have the Alpine CDA-9856 and that was a great deck till i turned it up the subs make my dash move like crazy which caused the deck to skip...so i bought the CD5000 to c if that would help and so far no skippin

Both of these are nice ass subs...and i have heard alot bout RE and seen alot of good things...and i dont know bout the DDs so i would go with the RE MXs!

The EPIC is recomended 300-800w RMS and the REVO is 700-2000w RMS so they can take the power....mine r running at 600 RMS and but i turn them up more for burps.

The EPIC is the same thing as the TC-1000s. They are literally the same sub the only difference is on the TC-1000 the frame and the cone are silver and then the EPIC the frame is Blue and the cone is black.And the Revo is the the same thing as the TC-2000. if it was me i would get a 1 or 2 12"s i wouldnt get 8" yea it would be diff. but the 12" would be louder.with my 1000s i am rite around 140-145db in a ford ranger. eventually i want to step up to 2-4 of the LMS ultras

for a good 12" sub....i would go with TC sounds....i think they are the best of both worlds(sound Quality and they move like crazy) But TC sounds is now audio pulse. Go to www.tcsounds.com and it will take you to audiopulse then click on bass drivers and and then the EPIC is the TC-1000. i own 2 12" TC-1000s and they are frickin great!!!!

Thats wat i thought too....idk that was the first thing that i thought of too if it does it cant be that much more than .1:) so idk im not gonna try it if i havent heard from anyone if it works...you will just loose airspace which means higher frequency.

Is it true that you can gain dbs by dynamating the inside of your box?i have heard that you can and i have heard that cant? so i just thought id ask and find out. Thanks!

if you go to www.the12volt.com they have a page that you type the dimensions of your box and it will tell you the exact dimensions of your port and how many ports you need....thats the only thing that i can think of now.ill let ya know if i get neother ideas.
