      lol actually no not this time. i actually ordered 4 sundown sa-8 v2s. it would have been dc if there 8s would do better in a smaller enclosure

    hell yeah. it would hit the lows pretty good. i say go for it.

    i went from a dc level 4 12 to 3 dc 8s. not much of a smaller box but i think it was worth it. the 8s were actually louder than 12 with less of power...800 watts at 2 ohms for the 12 and about 670 total at 2.67 ohms for the 8s

    And check the speaker wiring. If you are running more than 1 per channel, then make sure they are not wired at too low of ohms. And check the voltage at the amp. You may need bigger wire with the watts you are trying to push. And then check your gains as stated above

    I recently converted one of my buddies from JL to Sundown. He says, "I will definitely not go back." I sold his W1 12s in a probox and sold him my SA-15 and made him a box. "Best decision I have ever made," he claims.
