  1. Awesome! When its summer, I try that trick also. But I have to get me these lightweight US cans before. Ours are as twice as heavy. But when I can make my hat floating, why not an aluminum can I am working on a "Duck" trick, but I have to find my one what I got from Randy
  2. Dont plan too much (big planning is my job LOL) I like easy going. Adventures pop up all the time anyways Maybe you can show me some secret corners of Vegas LOL. SO FAR it maybe for the 2010 CES show! Maybe I come already in Dezember so that the new year starts in the states for me... But I must see if everything works out first. (If you want, you can send me your contact datas on e mail)
  3. Thanks for the kind words about my english. If I would have more time there would be less errors. But I translate it in the speed of reading/retyping and every time I read it again now, I find mistakes bymyself. Maybe I correct it step by step, or maybe not. Hey Kentb, so I know where I stay next time when I am in Vegas LOL. You wanna be my host and my driver? (pocket money or food for shelter for granted )
  4. Not bad hehehe ! The new way to show what music does. I will try that also one day. But our cans over here are more heavy than the US ones Will get me a Root beer from an importer...
  5. Hi there, well, bc there was not much respond in my section what I unfortunately can fill just from time to time, I thought its better to post here in Off Topic. During the last weeks I finished my long expected and promised report of my ÜSA 2008 trip. It was from january to end of febuary, 8050 miles from West to East and it took 47 days. Its the first time I did it in english, and also BEFORE the german report. Its a kind of thank you all (but this is standing in the report also, so no need to repeat here lol). You may have to "adjust" your windows. 600 pics included and 13mb big. Takes away some recources from your puter. But I recommend to read it in the long off season evenings After that I will do the german version. It was, as always, a lot of work and I hope you all enjoy it. Who knows when the next possibility for me will come to travel the states. But I work on it and count on you all, lol. Here ya go: part 1 part 2 Üüüühh!!! Michael
  6. Congrats! Samsung is always a good choice. Just got me a 52" Samsung Full HD last friday also (But LCD, not Plasma) The 4th LCD I bought this year. (Still have the others too of course) What the heck I am doing...
  7. Hi there, I am not sure if I am the right person I am located in Germany and have noe clue about the shop situation around the world Also I never upgradet an Alternator, bc I have always big enough ones (180A) for my cars, or didnt need bigger ones... But good luck, finding a shop. Maybe someone else knows?
  8. Hi there, just want to talk a little about what I am doing right now. Have no real time to pust much. Sorry for that. Being busy for my sponsors (happy to have some to make my living out of it) with promotion and on the side going to competitions and work on the car. Some sound improvements, repairs (as you may know from my windshield problem) and so on. Now there are the "finals weeks" and for three weekends I am out to compete. Not really for the win, but for the fun and the best possible result without concentrating Hardcore on every single competition. Bc. I am doing Sound Quality AND different SPL Formats with different installation rules its really heavy. So I got 3rd Place on the AYA Sound Quality german finals last weekend with my TÜRANN. It was damn close to the 2nd place and not far away from the 1st. Very acceptable for me when I consider that I have no Soundprocesser (EQ and time delay) and a car what does not even start when other SQ cars (what have just a few sound points more) come to their end. This weekend I have to go to the "SPL CLASSICS" Format, and next weekend there are the world finals, as some of you may know. I compete there in so much different compettiions that I lost oversight. dB Drag : German and World Finals (and regionals) dB Cup : German and World Finals Bass Race : German, regional and hopefully World dB Cup lite : German and World Finals Man, thats starting fees of about 550 Dollars btw. ... But then the quite time of the year comes. I try to complete my apartement here. Finishing the home cinemas and so on. New computers (for 3D modelling and HD editing) and making new plans for the next season bc I am still sponsored for 2009 and hope that I do my job so good that they want me longer than this contract goes. Thats why I am focussing on other, more important, things than SPL Records or competition wins. I had that enough in my life. Dont get me wrong, I still focus on BIG PERFORMANCE of my cars, but they are more Music cars than any specialists in SQ or SPL. For dB Drag I am at the moment at a stable 158,4 dB Peak and at Bass Race at around 157,6 + -. Together with the fine sound, its very ok. I still use about 9000 Watts of power and 10 9.0s are sitting here unused, what does not please me very much. Maybe one day I will get the impedance for the subs what I need. Who knows and who cares Just want to tell and teach you all (of course some of you know already) that there are way more important things than records or titles. Maybe you can say that when you HAD them, but thats why I am telling you this, in case that youre hunting them hardly. Just take out the most possible fun for yourself and dont waste too much time in things what just a handfull of people recognize in the world. If its your goal, just go ahead. But believe me, it can be much more fun without the pressure of competing and you can be more successfull in life, or even in the competition circus, with a 2nd or 3rd placing. Its always on YOU, the PERSON, not a score... Ok, thats it for today. Have fun !
  9. Hey, I get some PNs from time to time. But due to some problems I cannot answer them and there is no e mail in your messages. I need e mail contact bc I dont have time to scan all forums for messages. Please use my e mail account. Thanks. To "Kaba". Yes I remember our talk (but will have a hard time to remember your face ) I will be at ACR Kuppenheim next Saturday. Maybe you have time to come. But I have to work there. (Doing the dB Drag as Head Judge) so I dont know how much time I will have. Have to leave soon for a competition far away on Sunday morning...
  10. After reading 3 or 4 posts, I stopped. So I dont know what you figured out yet Indeed, the 50hz is correct when you ise standard AC meters, what have the best accuracy at this hz area. If you use True RMS and good meters (Fluke i.e.) you can use any frequency. Or if you use an oscilloscope. But it has nothing to do with Music range or so. It CAN be helpful also, but the main reason is the accuracy of the meters.
  11. Ok, here is the report. Unfortunately just in German. What a surprise hu? But at least with lots of little pics. http://www.realsqpl.de/mmue08report/mmue08report.htm Maybe one day there will be an online translator what is not messing everything up. I am still working in my ÜSA 2008 report, also in english So far, have fun.
  12. Hi Marc, thanks for the kind words and it was apleasure for me to "make your day special" But your aware of the fact that you won a Bass Race trophy? Just the problem, how will you get it? ...
  13. TONS of fun with original authentic american BBQ ! Here are some of the 1-3rd place Winners !
  14. Hi there. I just copied my text from the TermPro Forum to inform you about my successfull show... It was great to see all the international competitors there ! Good that Stany (and friends) made it ! Also the French guy (Luc) and Jan from Denmark, who had the farest trip. 850 km one way ! THUMBS up ! Not to mention the austrian teams who had all about close to 800km also ! Special thanks to the austrian Team GCL for sponsering the trophies and the help in the lanes. And all the helper, judges, visitors, competitors. Hope the negative things were not too much and the positive will last in all of your memories. This Mammut Üüüühh!!! was the biggest and best so far. With all your help folks ! (And the support of ACR, my main sponsor) We had, with AYA SQ, dB Drag, dB Cup, Bass Race, SPL Classics, sit tight, around 250 competitors ! And for the SPL people, EVERYBODY walked away with a trophy in their hands. I even had to get 16 more trophies bc they werent enough, lol, how emberassing hu? We estimate about 400 cars and 800-1000 visitors. Of course most people from the car audio scene. And maybe some "strangers" [smile] But these "strangers" become more and more ! Competition is maybe the smallest part of it [smile] Johnnys BBQ was a success, again, I hope ! His wife is very ill (heart bypass) and I feel honored that he and his crew managed that in that ungodly heat. Ok, I need some rest. Will take a while to catch up with my power. Very demanding job, also for my mum, without her, not possible ! Here are some pics of a AYA SQ guy. As soon as I have some, I upload them on the galerie. http://woofa.abi05.info/treffen/mammut_ueh...7_26/index.html Thanks again to ya all. All the pain and stress and sweat was worth it ! [smile] If it will happen again, well, it depends. Yesterday evening chances were 0%. [smile] But after talking to some people, and with a new kind of planning, and some changes, it may happen again. But dont expect such massive trophies anymore... But, who knows... Ü MM [Razz]
  15. YEAH BABY ! This event is ON !!! I hope you will make it FINALLY ! See the coordinates and use Google Earth Address is "Sportplatz" (Soccerfield) 63694 (ZIP) Limeshain Hainchen (City) Lindheimer Strasse (Street) (But you have to turn there, see map) Almost 1000 Pounds in Trophies are waiting and I will be highly dissappointed when your not coming ! Just follow Winfield Have a safe Trip !
  16. First (before 2000) he had 5 15" JBL GTI1500 in the car (Still love these subs and own some) it is free Air, what was used a lot in the old days. Car was pretty loud, for that time, but never meant as boom car. It sounded clean and of course, was an eye catcher, if the eye stayed for a while and wasnt confused by the "standard" outside look of the car.
  17. His old car 1995-2007 http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=jv2uOvspQxk His new ALPINE Mini http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=VlpijTcRYM0 I know this guy since over ten years. He worked at RF and now at ALPINE. Did amazing work. Car looks ordinary on first, but then you will be fascinated. And remember, its almost 6 to 8 years ago when he did this install ! Still hats off to Thomas Kirkpatrick
  18. That box you showed here looks way better for me ! But it will be loud just for the microphone. You will have less dB at the drivers seat. But if thats your intenstion, that box, from the look and the style, looks way better ! But as told you before (also from others) testing testing testing, and spending countless hours and lots of money...
  19. Hi, without a name and an e mail address, this tells me almost nothing what to do now Just saying ur the one what asked me about a box recently, is not really enough I get tons of q´s like this, and honestly, with no bad feelings, I have to refuse a lot bc they are too special and I cannot give special tips without spending lots of time for every system. And of course no guarantee that I will have the ultimate solution in seconds for everything... I hope nobody is angry about that. Still I try to look over everything and give a short opinion, if time allows. Thats all I can do. Big sorry for that, but until theres nobody who is doing my work, for free, 18 hours a day, I have to spend the time bymyself ... Ü MM
  20. Haha ! I wonder WHY the neighbours left Steve ! (Maybe they never come back???) But I think your taking every opportunity and wait until their gone, to play the car
  21. ...haha, maybe that brings more attention with "Sex sells" But she (aka Gina Wild) is very nice and not doing "it" anymore since 8 years. Unfortunately she has veeery short hair now. The gag was, when I GAVE HER an autograph also hahahaha ! And there were lots of nice girls too, some were more scared than others Enjoy.
  22. Hahaha ! What a creative mind you are ! Looking forward to see the results...
  23. Yeah, first the Hat Trick, than the Skirt Trick. But its a little harder to do. The girls should lift their butts a little higher, not all are willing to do that, you may know why But maybe I find some one day, or can finally put 4 times more power onto the subs. But I think then I will do the broken windshield Trick more often...(even if the windshield is amazingly stiff and quite at the moment). Maybe next weekend... (a german Ex Pornstar is expected there!)
  24. Yeah, some "little things" can be seen here, hopefully not too much for the "open section". Let me know, if its the case.
