  1. You could use some 320 grit sand paper either by hand or with a sander. You could use some 180 or 220 grit, but I would finish it with the 320 to avoid having the deep scratches left in it. Then I would then put some primer over it to prevent it from rusting.
  2. Sorry to jack your thread OP, but Jon I was wondering how much deadner you would recommend to do the roof, hatch, and 4 doors of an 02 Tahoe.
  3. Alot of guys will use the brake calipers and rotors from the 05+ trucks. They use a larger caliper and also a 13" rotor. Then along with braided stainless steel brake lines and better brake pads, it helps out alot. This will keep you under $600.
  4. I like the 4000 a lot. has a good feel and lighter than the 3000. Sprays metallics, pearls and candys nicely. Only thing is, I'm not a fan of the price lol. But you gotta pay to play.
  5. I use a SATA 2000 for sealer, 2 SATA 3000s and 1 SATA 4000 for base, and an Iwata LPH400 for clear. The supernovas are great guns but you gonna keep it real clean.
  6. The way I paint Chrome rims is to first wet sand them with 400 grit paper. It's time consuming. Then wipe them clean with a good paint prep cleaner. 2 coats of Bulldog adhesive spray, 1 coat black Sealer, 2 coats of black paint, then 2 coats of clear. I've always used either PPG or House of Kolors products.
  7. Aired Out Fully lifted Heres the link to my photobucket http://s52.photobucket.com/albums/g38/rc_customs/Tahoe/ I went with a simple 2 link in the rear. Used a fuel cell so I wouldnt drag thru it lol. I have it at work to paint it but I can get you more pics of anything you'd like. Also my email is [email protected] if you want to chat. Also, www.gmfullsize.com has alot of good info. Rafael
  8. I have an 02 tahoe laying frame on 26s. It takes a lot of work to get one to lay frame. I had to shorten the rear end and also needed to tub out in rear door jam and interior. It's going to require a good size notch which will mean you're gonna lose some space in the back. I can't figure out how to post pics from my phone, but I can when I get home.
  9. How much would shipping be to 75062 for the 1800s? Thanks. Rafael
