  1. I'm looking to get a logo made for my little side business, RAM Designs. I'm wanting something that can be easily made into a decal, so I'm thinking something purely script based and at a (roughly)1:3 ratio. I'm thinking somewhat bold lettering with RAM and Designs connected somehow, but please feel free to think of something creative yourselves. Let me know if you can help me out, or send a PM my way(or hit me up on the chat feature here) if you're wanting to discuss more details. This is something that I'm going to want to use on everything that I do. Thanks for any and all help.
  2. They look decent, if that means anything.
  3. First box I designed was my first ported box for a pair of Xtant X1244's back in...03 I guess. I've done 130 designs since early March.
  4. [quote name= Gem132' timestamp='1308569299' post='1576734] i know its alot of questions but im curious, how long does it take to design the boxes ? and do you also use like torres box calcultor ? Depends on the complexity of the design. A standard ported box might take an hour from start to finish, including getting all of the images I need taken and emailing everything to the customer. Something like this I just do over a period of time, not in one sitting. The thing that takes the longest is getting everything straightened out with the customer beforehand. And I use my own calcs, since I need to find displacement for every little thing that I may do.
  5. [quote name= Gem132' timestamp='1308568062' post='1576723] Looks Nice, how many of these do you do per day ? It averages out to about one per day...every 3rd one or so is kinda different, so I'll post up a vid and a pic.
  6. Do you have the UFO style one like in your sig? 4-4.5ft^3 at 32hz would be great for some good low-end.
  7. Is that 39" wide x 21" tall x 19" deep? If so, I'd just get a pair of 12's instead. How close does that 19" depth put you to the rear hatch?
  8. Sounds like a fun build and a good learning experience.
  9. Is that trunk cover going to hurt the ability for the bass to make it's way into the cabin?
  10. Here's a design for yet another fellow Texan, Jason Standridge, from this forum. This will be going in the bed of his 2009 Chevy Colorado crew-cab truck, firing into the cab via a three 6" ports. Each sealed chamber is 1.35ft^3 firing into a 5.4ft^3 at 49hz ported chamber.
  11. The height to width ratio does make a little difference. The more square the port is, the shorter it can be for the same tuning.
  12. Here's a pic in case you're too lazy to watch the short vid...or just don't want to.
  13. Add 45's and round-over the port corners, and move the sub to the far right to keep it as far away from the inside port opening as possible. In fact, ditch the last 180* turn in the port and run it up the left side of the box instead.
  14. Thanks guys. My cpu restarted on me and I lost all of my open tabs and designs...thankfully everything was done and I got all the pics I needed.
  15. This is for Justin Willmon from here. Four DC Sound Lab Level 4 15's will be going in here. Each sealed section is 3.6ft^3, and the ported section is 11.5ft^3 with a 47hz tuning. This is going in the bed of a single cab Dodge 1/2 ton truck.
  16. What exactly do you not like about how the sub currently sounds?
  17. 8ft^3 with a 33-35hz tuning is pretty fail proof.
  18. Within the same line of subs, three 12's will have a little more cone area. Just going by the Fi Q, you have 1240cm^2 for four 10's, and 1440cm^2 for three 12's.
