  1. Box just looks overly complicated, lots of space being taken up that a should make for good turnbulance. And its not even a bandpass box.
  2. WOWOWOWOWOWOW I dont even know what to say on that one!
  3. Damn you, Sealed=Suck lol no im kidding. Sealed works in small spaces and are deffintally for sq in my book. But i have lost so much output from a sealed box compared to a ported box.
  4. I love ported boxes for daily tuned really deep and bandpass boxes for spl burps.
  5. Bandpass boxes are insane for spl. Alan Dante, Scott Owens, Extreme Audio uses a bandpass for 4 18" BTL and is hitting a 179, Steve Cook is. Im sure their is more I just cant remember. I played around with them. On the meter a crappy 4th order I had was 4.3dbs louder than a really god ported box I had built. Bandpass was a burp box though.
  6. Dont get down on your self about it though. The trim panel to compltely seal it off wasent nearly done, Box was flexxing from all the damn air moveing etc. The only Thing that moved more air in my opinion is the Beast. So dont get down on yourself. Its insane on music, Give your self some credit.
  7. A 3 cylinder car? How does that work lol?
  8. Yeah those doors are insanely loud. The vocals and the clap make me blink from how loud they scream. Then the bass I really dont know how your amps are still on the roof at all, let alone the sunroof still being on their and not looking like Frankie Rio's roof. If you ever have a chance to see the beast it is an adrenaline rush thats so damn crazy. Did you ever post up your videos from demoing?
  9. Rob I honestly think if the subs werent in the middle and in on the top It would have been a lot better for us. The amps and battery rack came out sick. The subs on the sides look sick and have plenty of box, But I think the subs on the top and bottom dont have enough box and that was causeing our problems to get it even louder and stop cancelation.
  10. Ditto, Been around it building and listeing for about 10 yrs and my hearing is just as good from day 1. Get tested every year in school and from doctor. The older I get the better my hearing picks up higher frequencies. Weird as hell, But I like it lol
  11. Yeah that headunit is awesome. A lot of cool stuff.
  12. Yeah that headunit is awesome. A lot of cool stuff.
  13. I had the same problem with my pioneer 4900 until it fried, So now I have the new 4000 due to they discoutinued the 900 series ones and now everythings the 1000's etc, and still no pause button but on the remote which is what I use now and its easier.
  14. Isane Brock Inane!!! Love the windshield Flex, oh sorry flexx and have you tried any chopped and screwed songs on their yet? Should move even more air and more flex!
  15. My brother has the pioneer 9800 and its sick, has a lot of stuff to it and has 5v ouputs which works. Have heard good things about the eclipses and everyone says the 8v outputs make it even better! So its up to you. Which you prefer and looks better to your taste.
  16. x5 Ive had that happen to me once. And then again to every car in my driveway and almost every house on my block. Over 50 houses had cars and houses broke into that night in my town. Was huge and their was a big thing
  17. Yeah I completely agree. It honestly shook like no other and moved a lot of air. Loved lower frequencies. Deffintally not anything for the meter at all. I love the way the box looks with the 10 on each side. It looks sick.
  18. Agree. The Sundown amps are sick yes and are efficeient, but I would try to elimate the main key component of a system your alt, wireing and battery source. Then you can power them Sundown amps to their fullest and really get them going.
  19. See my brother had 2 12" Mofo's and had 2000 watts each one and they got loud as hell, and sounded good in a good box. Sounded good and got really loud. I found it to be all on the enclousre. Then we had it in a sealed box, lost a lot of ouput and sounded just as good and he really put a beating on them!!!
  20. Ummmmmmmmm lmfao. Ill let Rob talk to everyone about that.
  21. The 18"s look sick. Still would love to know how to get the motor in the box then the sub. I know plenty of subs like that and its hilarious! Looks sick though!
  22. LOL!!! I bet he would find a way to save both somehow.
  23. Thanks, Im deffintally giong to try to start to use birch. Dont know if I can afford it though but the weight recution would make wonders for me. Thanks again
