No! I've been looking into it though...my brother was talking to me about buying my escape off of me and possibly competing somehow but he didn't end up buying it off of me and I don't have the money to do that...but he bought a sport trac so no more chance for that there is no room!

I second the whole windows xp. Vista slows every computer I've used down terribly, its not like your running anything in the car to need anything more than xp. How will that hard drive hold up to the abuse of 30k watts rms? Sound deaden the box your putting it in?

I'd agree the fleckstone does come out awesome! Especially for the inside of boxes with some lights in there!

Thanks AP for the help... So kingsuv if I bought an amp that was only 2 ohm stable than what would happen smart arse!? Forbid I match the subs up to a proper wattage amp, that probably doesn't make too much sense to you does it?

Well I guess I mean which number than should I look for when trying to pair the subs to an amp...should I pay more attention to the rms of the amp at 1 ohm or 2 ohm...Get what I'm saying or are you guys just trying to yank on my chain! I'd like to pair the subs up to an amp but don't want to overpower or underpower...seems as if I should look more at the 2 ohm rms output...?

Which ohm load does a 1.34 fall under. Is that considered 1 ohm or 2 ohm at the amp? Thanks!

Hey bigpimpin another thing look for the mdf sheet at the depot that has some scuffs in it...you can get them 1/2 off and than buy 2 sheets! They don't want to hang onto it because people won't buy scuffed board especially if they are paying full price so either they throw it away or sell it as clearance and rid themselves of moving it around and throwing it away...dad is a builder and you'd be surprised the money they knock off damaged stuff...take a 120 dollar exterior door for the house for instance...60 bucks! Try the kicker cvx's. You should be able to get 2 cvx 12's for the same price as orion's I'd imagine. I've heard some orion's in that stock box they come with (slot middle port looks nice) and those are loud. The 12's were actually louder than a set of cvr 15's this guy had in his impala. The orion 12's were way better and louder. If you like kicker and think you may like to stick with kicker try the cvx's they are very nice and get loud if you get an amp that has enough to power them. They are 750 rms/sub... LINK to cvx Link to hifonics amp I figured if you have an audiobahn you wouldn't mind a hifonics amp. The 2006d is overrated but should give you the 1500rms for the cvx's...LINK I've heard 2 cvx's hooked to a crunch 3000.1 and it was loud but it blew a fuse before it could actually put power out. The amp was only hooked to a 30amp fuse and the 3000.1 uses 2 50 amp maxi fuses. The price on the 3000.1 is awesome so you kind of can't complain and many have said it does 1500rms...LINK Not to mention you could get 2 of those for the price of any other amp that had a similar output... Unfortunately they don't ship to Australia but try ebay and see what they have. Try someone local or a online place that is nearby Alright last thing I promise your amp puts out 1200 watts I believe rms at 1 ohm. I don't know however if thats at 14 volts or where its at or perhaps it puts out more...according to the audiobahn website if you have 17.9 volts it will put out more but I don't know if thats more than 1200 or 1200 at that voltage...I'd hang onto your amp and try out the cvx's and if its not enough upgrade the amp! Hey I figured you would have come up with a genius idea on how to relocate...besides he has all those subs there to move air and keep it cool! That lcd/computer screen should stay cooler not having the vents there at least...right? I'd love to spend all that money to never drive...someday....someday!

Sounds like you were a mopar fan but I've been looking into getting a 2002 or perhaps later mercury mountaineer...found them fully loaded with 2 tone leather heated seats 6-disk cd with 7 speakers and all for under 10k with less than 100k miles...there's a different suv that isn't a mopar! But I'll be getting one of those once I get rid of my escape or my jag...

Rims by far. You already have some good bump in the ride what more could you ask for? How many watts rms do you need that would be better than the power acoustik you have? Get the rims and than save for the amps since you already have sound in the ride. Unless of course you are worried about theft of the rims and sound!

What's the cost and any links for people using the stuff? Thursday my little brother and I are going to make a box to replace the factory 8" sub and his floor has no carpet rather its like the rubber bed liner stuff...I was thinking the fleckstone or suede but I bet truck bedliner would match better...btw we upgraded it with a jl 8w0 which sound ok but the stock plastic box sucks!

Did you ever think about taking out your rear seat? I had a customer that had to do this with his sn-95 mustang. The box wouldn't fit through the trunk itself but he took his seat apart and fit right in there quite easily actually. Also had a customer with a impala we took the rear seat apart for and it was easy just a matter of 2 bolts down in-between the seat cushion and seat back and your in...
