so i got my remote start installed today and the guy tapped off the fuel injector so that the remote start would know to quit cranking, well this made my truck run like complete shit to say the least, i unplugged the tap that he had on there and it runs great, so my question to you guys is, what should i tap into besides the injectors and coil packs that would tell the remote start to stop cranking the engine? vehicle is a 99f150 w/ the 5.4

depends on subs, airspace and things of that nature, ive heard 2 15's sealed that got wayy lower than my 2 12's ported did

keep in mind that was in extended cab truck.... damn hatches are too easy to get loud :'(

i hit a 139.3 on my 2 12" cvrs in a ported box tuned to 33hz on a term lab and that was on music

on a meter it willl just meter 1% if its below that, mine meters at 1% in the rear and 14.9% up front

get a true 0 guage wire...

thats not necessarily true, yeah you would expect a light to come on but it takes a certain amount of time or distance for it to trigger the check engine light and if it does it intermittently and not for very long then it wont trigger a check engine light

im going to school to become a paramedic/firefighter, i start the emt program in the fall then move onto the paramedic program, and hopefully i can find a job and get paid to go through the fire academy

when a salesmen at best buy told me that a sealed box and 2 10" type r's would hit harder than 2 12" p3's in a ported box off the same amp inthe same car, i had to correct him on that one... think i taught a salesmen something that day

well the reason you lost that is b/c you prolly have a bigger tire and 24's are going to weigh more, and there are too many factors that contribute to slow acceleration it could just be a dirty MAF or air filter but it could be much worse things as well
