  1. they can say anything they want. hell, kid rock said he was hank jr's son, and that was a complete load of shit.
  2. thats not too bad a price, if the sound quality is on par. for the right sound quality, i would have no problem spending upwards of 300-400 for some nice earbuds.
  3. i ran my kicker 2500.1's at .7 daily for a long time, and they didnt seem to mind. alot of people on the kicker team did, and i never heard of any of them having any problems.
  4. the terms "simple" and "straightforward" are subjective. to you, it may be simple and straightforward, but i cant draw box in it to save my life. as to where rhino is simple and straightforward to me, but you probably wouldnt be able to draw a box in it to save your life. just sayin.....
  5. its not that bad. there are lots of good free box calculators out there. ive been trying to learn the bandpass game myself......
  6. i cant figure it out either. i just go straight to rhino and im covered on 3d modeling. video using rhino on my enclosure -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udlM2izCaTE
  7. lol. well that noob needs to put some funky pups in that 'hoe and get it loud for real. lol
  8. the phrase "tapping threads" in the title should tell everyone that he isnt talking about a screw with a stripped out head.
  9. no, im not proving your point. liquid nail is a construction adhesive. you use it to glue down subflooring. nails are what holds the house together.
  10. wood glue is the best thing for gluing wood. ill explain how the bonding process works, relative to mdf. first, here is the thing i have never seen anyone do correctly. mdf has a layer of sealer on it. for best result, you have sand through the layer of sealer to get to the actual wood, to get the best bond possible. wood glue is thinner than liquid nail. i mix my glue with a lil bit of water to make it even thinner, because if the glue is thin it will soak into the material for a very strong bond. with liquid nail, it is so thick that it doesnt soak into the wood, and all you get is a surface bond, with is the structural equivalent to having a battery with a dead cell. sure it shows voltage, but put some load on it and you aint got shit.
  11. how can it be the same as silicone and glue, when silicone and glue are not the same? also, you seem to have absolutely no understanding of how glue actually works.
  12. you can not make a reasonable comparison between sealing a box with silicone and putting fiberglass resin in an enclosure to lower impedance rise.
