  1. You can strap 2 1200s @ 2 ohms then since you have d2s Would that be much change from running the 1200 at .5 thats what I'm doing now? Seems like strapping them at 2 wouldnt be much change? Could I run strapped at .5? Doesn't work that way, running 2 amps strapped at 2 ohms = 1 ohm per amp so 2400 rms, if you run strap at .5 that's .25 per amp, hope you have one hell of an electrical to back that up L

  3. Yeah 2 d2's, I have a sax1200 now so thought maybe add another of those?
  4. I think the sax1200 is strapable, although not positive? Why wouldn't ohm load match?
  5. What if I was to get another 1200d and through 1 at each speaker or strap them?
  6. Here's my box specs, It's 2ft^3 firing into 4ft^3 tuned to 45hz. Overall dimensions are 48" wide x 16" tall x 20.75" deep. I can send u some pics through email if you would lime to c more info? I can't figure out how to upload pics with iPhone....
  7. The speaker terminals on the SAZ amps are connected internally, not bridged. You can use 1 or both sets of terminals, doesn't really matter. Think of it as having 1 positive terminal and 1 negative terminal, but you can hook up 2 wires to each. Ok thanks I think I'm good then! I took 1 speaker to 1 set and 2nd to other set so that means there connected to drop the ohms down...
  8. Where can I look into the aq2200? I can sell u mine if you want one for a little cheaper Why you selling? How much?
  9. That link was to a competition result videos?
  10. Where can I look into the aq2200?
  11. The box design was done by ram designs maybe he can post an image? I'm very happy with it.... Just thought maybe I could get louder?
  12. So are you saying I'm pretty much maxed out with what I have? More watts wouldn't make that much of a difference, even though they are rated at 600 lol
  13. Hey guys, just did my blowthrough with lots of opinions from you and I must say it came out awesome! I'm running 2sa12's on a sundown sax1200d and it really gets down! I know how this stuff goes, we always want more! So is it possible to get more out of this setup by just changing the amp to like the saz1500? I'm not able to add subs per the bed space and limit wife gave me.lol so wondering if mire power would do the trick in the future? Thanks!!
  14. So I wired my coils together in each speaker enclosure and have 1 speaker wire coming out of each enclosure, so 2 pos and 2 neg does that mean I can just take first one to +\- and second to other +\- like it's stereo even though I know its not and that will still drop the ohms down?
  15. IIRC it did rated power with a rise to 2 ohms, or something along those lines. It was in a thread a while back, possibly the thread Jacob started when it first came out. Edit: I found the thread. Here's Jacob's quote: Thanks guys! So it should do fine with 2sa12's until I jump to the 1500d
  16. I was wondering if you've tested th sax1200d, I'm putting it to 2-sa12's...
  17. Anybody else done designes for the sa12's and had great finish product with bandpass or ported?
  18. Hmm I'm so undecided with only hours to go before the build starts???!!!?? Uggggghhhhh
  19. cut the cabin out and wall 4 18's. lol jk I wish! I have 3 kids that have to ride back there! OP , design could be better, would you be able to get to the subs without destroying the box ? I'm not sure custom guy says he can make back part removable? I'm more concerned about output! Lol
  20. Man this is so hard to do and be confident in it! I only want to do this once and be happy! Lol I know impossible! But really so many ideas out there!
  21. My custom guy is gonna build it tomorrow, I just don't want to have to do trial and error so I anybody with experience could set me straight I'd appreciate it!
