Multiple runs or Distrubution Block?
Waldo129 replied to Amart88's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Yes exactly. Also do 2 runs of 0 guage wire from battery to battery. Just to make sure your getting full potential, and more for extra measures -

Multiple runs or Distrubution Block?
Waldo129 replied to Amart88's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Well if you had one run of 0 guage to a distro block then out of the block to 2 amps you wouldnt have the same power/aperage as having 2 solid runs to each amp. If your case, I would get a second battery and just do a single run to the secondary battery, and then out of the battery to your 2 amps. Thats what im doing and its working perfect. But that all depends if your running some serious power... -

Inverting Subs

Most people invert their subs due to space issues. If you have the space then why do it? It also looks cool to some people.... i guess lol -

Heres my old BL 15. The box was pretty huge, around 4.5 cubes I think...

Im sorry, kinda new to the program. Im just using 2 aero ports, or whatever can get me around 32hz. Any suggestions? Do you have any room for external port length? What vehicle is this in (are these your max dimensions or do you have more room)? And how will the subs / port be positioned? Its going into a 02 Civic Si hatchback (not many people have these cars, let alone have a btl 18 in one lol). And yes sadly those are my max dimensions. I could maybe have half the 2 aero ports sticking out of the top, but I don't have much room until it touches the roof of the car. Ill upload a pic of the trunk with my old BL 15 to show you what I have to work with

Well Im starting my box today for my BTL 18 and I need some suggestions... I have my max dimensions set up at the top and I know thats right, but what about the aero ports? I tried plugging in the dimensions of a 6" aero port I found on partsexpress.com and I just don't know if its right. Ill be using 2 of them, and they will be inside of the box. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

i already upgraded to a comp set of rainbows. I was going to add the neos for midbass. Where would you put the Neo 8"s? -

Jacob from Sundown Audio is releasing the 6.5" door speakers March 15th. I would do those if your wanting to upgrade your mids. There on pre-order now for 85$ a set. 99$ when there released. -

The Neo Pro 8"s and the Sa-8" are two COMPLETELY differen drivers. The Neos are made solely for midbass. Whether its in your doors or kick pannels. The Sa line are just woofers. I mean I guess you could use a Sa-8 for midbass, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having the Neo line. Hoped that helps!
