I've tried the Chill but not the Bud lite. I'd rather have a chill over a Corona tho

Im Stumped?
mrrairai replied to FiBTLforlife's topic in General Audio - Can't find a category for your question? Ask here.
FIBTL, I've tried the gain setting with the AC voltmeter deal. It doesn't hit as hard. What I did was turn it up just a little bit past where the AC voltage should be and it slams something wicked. Also big up to Semmes. I used to recruit out of Mary G Montgomery. Originally from Mobile. -
I read this some months back on the12volt and it was pretty interesting. These guys really broke it down. Optima Red Top vs Yellowtop

So it wasn't the alt then. That means there's a short somewhere. Maybe something has been overlooked. I guess you gotta go thru it with a fine tooth comb. Maybe you've already stated this, but how old is your battery?

Flexxissues Dual Alt Setup
mrrairai replied to flexxissues's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
I can't wait to get home so I can see these pics. I want dual alts but I cannot give up my AC!!! -
Your alt might still be good. I can't remember where I saw it but Dom did this huge write up on how to test HO alts because most of your local mechanics don't do it correctly. It might be on this site but I know the write up exists.

More Batteries? Or Cap?
mrrairai replied to penguin3820's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
I got a D3100 under the hood of the Expo and it is originally a group 34. I had to remove the stock battery tray tho. It works. -

I think he only pwned one person on the forum not everyone. Reading is Fundamental (R.I.F.)

Now that's some funky ass math. Never looked at it like that. That means that I need at least 3 D3100s.

More Batteries? Or Cap?
mrrairai replied to penguin3820's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
What type of vehicle is it? You might be able to get a Powermaster under the hood. -
Link/Chris/MLA so many aliases is correct. The module is not at a constant 15.0 or so volts. It fluctuates with the state of the battery and also the heat. I get a good 15.2 when I'm cold (sometimes .3) but when it warms up it drops and rest around 14.7 or 14.8 depending on how hot it is and what I'm running at the time. The module is an excellent investment.

I don't think it'll hurt the amp at all.
