  1. Clarify the dimensions and then we can calculate adding another port. that would not be too hard and could fix the problem. second port adds port area and raises the tuning. . .
  2. So your max dimensions are 49 wide x 20 high x 24 deep? I assume you doubled the top so you have sub up, port rear? I can put you a design together. . .confirm the dimensions. Brian
  3. How about the Soundigital 3000.1D?
  4. Used. . .Olympic Arms (Forged version, not the cast version). AR-15, (14) 30 round clips, (5) 20 round clips, (4) speed pulls, nice case, nice sling, over 200 rounds of .223 ammo, and a metal ammo case for $600. Took it over to a friend's house that shoots AR-15's in 400 yd target matches and took it apart for a good clean and lube. Everything looks good. I think my boys are more excited about shooting it than I am! Brian
  5. And then you just have to make sure you NEVER play a source that is strong/louder than the source material you used when setting that limit. When someone has to ask a question like this, there is a 99.99% chance telling them to limit the amplifier output using the gain is NOT going to work. You limit amplifier output by knowing the limits of your system and not letting your fingers roll the volume knob past that limit. . . For subs - You could also look at the AA Havoc. A pair of them would be a nice match with that amp. Brian
  6. Not enough unless it is a crappy sub with not much power. What subs and how much power? What are the box dimensions? Brian
  7. I use #12 machine screws. Pre-drill an 1/8" hole. . .
  8. Fi just gave me a heck of a deal on (3) Type X 12" subs. First place in each class will get a Type X 12" sub as the prize!!! Thanks Scott! My subs for the van will also be here by then, so plenty of demos that day! Brian
  9. That is the maximum power rating of the Q, not a required amount of power. AA Chaos would also be another good choice.
  10. Can you clarify? port opening 3.5? Is that 3.5 x 17.75? How long? I do not see enough dimensions there to calculate what you have. . .If I missed something, let me know. Brian
  11. I have some old subs I need to get rid of. All of them work perfectly, but they are not show quality. The Earthquake is a DVC dBX12 - couple of small scuffs in the surround. $100 shipped. Will include with the sealed box and terminal cup for $125 shipped. A pair of PPI 10" subs. single 4 ohm coils. not sure of the model - just say PPI 10 on the bottom. The rubber surround has been glued back to the cone in one small area on one of them. $100 shipped. Brand new in the box Pioneer TS-W251R 10" single 4 ohm subwoofer. $40 shipped. Brian
  12. I am running morel tweets, but AA makes mids and tweets!!! I am running six pairs and it sounds awesome and is stupid loud!
  13. I ran MT's for over a year in my daily driver. Nice subs. BTL's with cooling and the long coil are much better for playing music. Brian
  14. I would go for 20+ sqin of port per sub with that much power. If that port is for both subs, it is a little small. If that is the port you will use, I calculate 1.5" x 12" with 2.4 ft^3 net @ 38 Hz is 9.75 in long, assuming a slot port and that "net" includes the sub and port displacement.
  15. Not sure how much experience you have, but be careful - What you posted there really means nothing. You may still be getting full output from the amp at those settings. Gain is not an output limiter. Man I love BTL's. My favorite sub so far Got any pics or videos??????
  16. Ate there for lunch. Lines are long, go early!
  17. I would do (2) 12's in the correct size ported box. Q's, Havocs, Xcons. . .
