  1. I would just trade it in honestly, No matter what you do its still a rental car. lol Sorry but seriously its a 4 door budget car, sell that bitch.
  2. This is my center console for my F250. Its made for the rear seats but same concept applies. Just split the port instead of only one like mine since you are limited with space behind seat. But trust me.... my shit slaps with this setup.
  3. You can do it, I would run the sub at a slant facing upwards towards dash in front and split the port and have two sections go behind each seat. It would look like this from the top...T It would load well off each corner behind you and passenger. Each side running behind each seat could be say 2in wide and 15in tall. That would give 60in port ....Shouldn't hurt leag room
  4. I thought this was impressive. I am only running 3k watts to them, never been on a meter and probably wont. Box is 14cu tuned low at 30hz with 204in of port.. I may switch to sp4's and add another 3k but for now I am happy. The subs are only 3 weeks old and still getting louder. Most people show bottles on hoods and roofs etc, but bouncing a half full bottle that not even touching the truck http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ISs8Lo65UOo
  5. sorry sent email directly, didnt need to ask here.
  6. I called and ordered a 270amp for my 2007 F250 6.0 on Friday and the guy said that it would probably get shipped out on Monday. Thats not that big of a deal but I would like to atleast get a email confirmation receipt or something showing purchase. My name is Lee Swift, I do not have a order number or anything since this was done over the phone. Thanks
  7. Box looks great and should sound good too! I wouldnt change anything unless you are unhappy with it.
  8. WTF, cool idea but that will sound like ass unless you get that totally sealed
  9. Ok if I do my last design the subs will be 6in from the roof, I know I would not be able to access them without removing box but would this cause any other issues. I could go subs forward but they may unload into the port. I can basically go with the sub forward port forward design but will this produce the low clean loud sound I want without actually walling it off. Truck is way too nice to do that. Beauty panels foam wrapped could give the wall effect but will that suffice with no major seal
  10. Ok here is my new design. I will go ahead with this one and should sound good on music the way my truck is. My last box was sub forward port to driver side and it hammered the lows. Looking for same results here just alot more of it. Not nearly as big as the other idea, lol 14.4cu at 29hz with 15in of port per cube backs seats are out and it will replace this that I designed and built last year for a 15in FI Q. This one was 3.6cu tuned at 29hz
  11. Looks killer, The one I did was subs on pass side, port on driver side. Does doing port in center change or effect sound at all. My truck peaks at 30-31hz BTW. Thanks
  12. Thanks for your input!! I just figured the box being in the middle of their optimal recommended volume with decent port area and tuned low would be a beast in the low 30hz range. I can definetly go smaller on the enclosure just wanted to get the most from the setup. Not really looking for huge meter numbers just a lowend monster. Thanks
  13. I dont see my words in a different color?? The FI Q 18 calls for 6-10 cu per sub. So I just figured 8.5cu each because I will only be using 3k watts.
  14. I calculated internal volume not counting the port at all. My calculations should be dead on. Port is 8in wide by 32in H, Port is 27in total length. Port wall is 17.5 inches long stopping 8in from back wall. so 17.5 + 4in to middle of port + 4in back to edge of port wall + 1.5in wood = 27in length
  15. Well looks like I will end up with 17.87cu before bracing and sub displacement. I really want to end up with 17cu total after. This is for 2 18in FI Q's on 3k watts. Box dimensions will be Outside 35h x 54w x 27d.... All sides double 3/4 MDF except front baffle will be triple. (may use some Birch for weight reduction) Usable inside demensions are 32h x 41.5w x 23.25d = 17.87cu Port is 8 x 32 = 256in total Sub displacement = .24 (x2)... but I will be triple baffled so what maybe .22 each?? Total of six 2in hardwood dowels for bracing =.35 2in wide 45's in corners =.10 So this leaves me with 17cuft tuned at 30hz after all is said and done. I may glass the inside as well? whats the benefits? Anybody see anything I am missing? Will six 2in hardwood dowels be enough fr bracing? 2 top to bottom, 2 front to back and 2 side to port wall. Plus with all double walled and triple baffle this mofo should be solid I would think. These will be powered by a Crunch GP3000 pro. Big 3 done, 1/0guage, 270 Mechman alt, etc etc.
  16. Thanks, I would love to see some hair tricks or good flex vids. I can make some later.
  17. Please do Send me the one you have also, I'd like to hear it. I am loving this one. I have a few MJ remakes, they are fun to do.
  18. Here is a Michael Jackson Thriller remake / bass edit I did. Check it out! Good timing with Halloween here. Main note is 32-31hz but touches on 40, 35, and 28hz also. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GY14IGNB
  19. Dr Dre added (old school 1992, this one bangs hella hard. Beat changes throughout so let it play Tell me what yall think.
